Yeah I use a 4/5 octave keyboard to come up with my melodies and such but I don't usually record myself playing. After I've come up with it I usually just transfer it into a pattern using the mouse and keyboard. I also have an external sound card for when some very complicated songs become to much for my computer to handle. For controlling EQs, that is all done after within the program. But when learning a keyboard is not very necessary. And thanks.
I'm using a Yamaha Audiogram3 USB audio interface. The only problem I've had with it is i have to switch to the USB device from the default audio playback from the control panel. And that makes it work but it makes no other sounds work except FL Studio.
Well what happened, was i got a terrible virus on my computer from my sibling, and it went crazy, and we had to reinstall windows, so i lost everything i had ever worked on and all my programs and plugins and stuff.
We'll see, i really want to, i think i have some good ideas, exams are coming up in less than two weeks though, so i think i'll at least wait till after then so i am not distracted.
nice tune man, keep it up u shud try dnb again, even if u think it's like 10x harder than techno or trance just try it, even if it takes forever for u to make it, that's just a good thing.
