  • @TheRocklife13 hi there, I know whitch plane your talking about. no I could not get that much HP out of a small engine like that. ;-D

  • @buderboi but the cricris enis are a little bit bigger. not by much tho

  • @Toad261183 I dont understand a word your saying? can you type/ understand english?

  • Thanks Dr. Tune. I'll tell ya how it goes

  • Hey there... I'm doing one of these for an air boat and i was just wondering, how did you cut down the flywheel?? message me please

  • @bigdog2782 I did the most cutting with a handheld band saw, you can use a hacksaw.

I trued it up on a lathe. ;-D

  • i'm doing one of these for an air boat and I was just wondering how you cut the flywheel down? did you just drill holes in it?

  • how much for two of those? and is that a weedwaker engine?:D

  • NICE, VERY beautiful.

  • @BadassCeino thanks, ;-D

  • Hi Gary and Merry Christmas....I have a Homelite featherlite 26cc motor..The cooling fins are on the inside instead of the outside..Two dogs for pull starter are on outside .. Does the nut tube that holds the flywheel on come off clockwise or counter?? I would lket to buy a prop shaft and nut & washer from you if you have one.. Any info would be appreciated.....Bob 937-207-1531

  • what kind of thrust? nice convesion..!!

  • man i love these little gas engine conversions i think my next RC is going to be a hell of a lot bigger

  • Sweet running motor! I did the same for my bicycle as a gag, but the motor always cuts out after 5 min!

  • is that the optimal prop size? how much thrust does it do?

  • @SlavaVB yes it is. you can use a 16x8 also. not sure on the thrust. ;-D

  • @buderboi

Hi, I converted same engine. 7200 rpm and 11.7 lbs thrust with factory muffler with holes drilled in it. The prop was an APC 16x8, without muffler got 7800 rpm and 13.3 lbs thrust.

  • @jahatton thats great! ;-D

  • @buderboi hey buderboi, bassonmyolmonster here, i had to change my account, so you might have to friend me again

  • Is that the optimal prop size?

  • sweet im making a 20cc fetherlight weedeater motor and building a rc frame and putting it together

  • hey great engines

im currently converting a 31cc ryobi for an airboat and was wondering what kind of paint you used to paint that engine? Does the heat effect the paint?

    thanks

  • @1234Guitarman1234 I use Krylon/ Plasti-Kote/ and Dupli-Color automotive engine paint.( it has to be engine paint) cheap spray paint will not work! ;-D

  • nice. do u think i could make somethin like this work on my traxxas tmaxx 4x4 truck?

  • @redneck64tl look at other 4x4s on here. im sure someone has done it. ;-)

  • orange and blue my bad

  • red and blue looks great

  • @jayc888x thanks. ;-)

  • hi can you please make a video showing how to convert these engines for rc planes or direct me to one thanks ;)

  • DANG THAT LOOKS GREAT

  • Love the blue!

  • Ive done the same thing, the engine works fine after the conversion, the only thing i can not start it by hand, with a electric starter it starts first shot, so im thinking when i spin it with my hand its to slow to create a spark?

    Any tips

  • hi, the engine has to be in good condition to hand start (good compression!)

and if it is it will hand start. sorry there is no secrets. good compression+ adjusted right+getting gas= HAND STARTS!

    Gary. ;-D

  • Thanks Gary,

it has great compression, ill try tune it up a bit better today.

  • I always wondered why there is the fan on weed eaters. Is it ok to cut the blades off if the engine covers are removed so it cools?

  • yes it is. ;-D

  • damn you got that tuned nice!

  • thanks. ;-)
