  • Hiya Liam,

Hey I didn't upstage Jimmy that night geesh! IMHO, Jim Heffernan is "THE" teacher, and anyone who passes up a chance to attend one of Jim's "boot camp" workshops is missing a great opportunity to learn how to actually play one of these contraptions.

"Sadie" my fav. Sho-Bro is getting quite a reputation as a "jam buster!" She's so distinctive looking, that by the time we show up at a festival jam session, nobody's left! I'm starting to wonder about that???

  • Ah it is you Richie. I saw the Shobro and well I thought...who else?

  • I shall send your comment on to Richie. He did upstage Jimmy that night!

    Gerry

  • Yeah do that. Tell him it's Liam saying hi.

  • Ray Richard...boy does that name sound familiar. You must be one of Zoel's picking buddies from days past? I don't think we ever actually played jobs together, but I wonder if you know Noel Arsenault, and if you might remember me, playing steel guitar?

  • I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the boys picking again. Keep doing these on youtube for us Canadians.

  • Jimmy is the confused lookin' guy seated to my left. Lord it was fun getting to jam with him! I'm listening to his "ride" as I type this, and we "coneheads" were all in a workshop Jimmy held at Boston Bluegrass Union's Joe Val Festival the next day. Thanks again Jimmy.....U DA MAN!

  • I didn't see no Jim Heffernan?? Where was Taterhead?

  • Awesome job Gerry, "Sadie" & I enjoyed listening to this as we did being part of the fun!
