  • This vid is a favorite on Bern

  • I cannot bring myself to like these new wranglers at all. They have taken away the simplicity, and replaced it with luxury. Want an easy to drive commuter car? Don't buy a wrangler!! I drive my buddy's '88 wrangler soft top often. It has no door locks, no radio, it's incredibly loud, and it has no frills at all; ITS FANTASTIC!!! it's a wrangler, an of road dependible vehicle... Nuf said.

  • i want this jeep so bad, how much would it be?

  • just the best jeep theres only whan you know land rover defender use to be better than wrangler bat knaw with the wrangler rubicon thinks change and land cruiser toyota fj and all other off roaders are know match to a rubicon

  • I hate the canvas, love my hard top!

  • Comment removed

  • it is a bastard that these cost 38k in Australia new, for the base sport model. I love Wranglers, but they are a crude vehicle and not worthy of such a high price point. Over in the US you have got it right, starting at 19k is what they should be at.

  • @koryan Unfortunately, they started at 19k 4 years ago, now they're up to 22k for the base.

  • @sirpaisley that inflation for ya

  • I HATE the new Jeeps!!! They are trying to make them a luxury road vehicle, witch goes against everything Jeeps are about! I would MUCH rather have an old CJ5 or older wrangler. They are doing away with the rugged flare that jeeps have, and its just sad!

  • @kadenkindred agreed i pulled the carpet of my 07' X wrangler and rhino lined the bitch

  • Meu suspiro foi tão grande! um dia compro um.

  • I love it so much I plan to buy a Wrangler Rubicon. The Wrangler X with S package is great

  • que belleza de jeep color rojo

  • is the 2 door with hardtop on a good daily driver and quiet on the highway?? considering getting one.

also are the back seats comfortable for two big full grown adults? im guessing with people in the back there is absolutely no room for luggage :(

    ??

  • @koryan my mom had a 2 door hard top i am 16 and there is verry litle room in the back for me unless the person in the front slides there seat faward it is however quiet on the highway there is not much room for luggage unless you fold the back seats up

  • i love jeeps.....and chevys

  • ya right there a peace of shit.

  • @bnsf7512 You can't even spell (or put words in their right context), so no one should listen to you.

  • @TheVampyreCat ya ok how many of there do u own or drove?

  • @bnsf7512 Enough. And I have heard a lot more good things about Jeeps than about any other "offroad" vehicle.

By the way you just proved my last point with your sentence.

  • @MBslopestylin1 yeah

  • I hate jeeps, they are too expensive for what you get and are terrible in the winter due to a short wheelbase. Great off roaders, but not much good at anything else.

  • @ktmlover90 dumbass

  • @1muscledogs good one

  • @ktmlover90 im just sayin

  • O|||||||O

  • 0:47 was just beautiful

  • Great video

  • how do you kill a cat with 16 lives? you ran in a 4x4 over it ! jajaja

  • OlllllO

  • You know what I love about my stock 2007 jeep wrangler? The terrible leaks it has developed, The extremely underpowered v6, The terrible & scary death wobble it has developed, The jeep dealer telling me there is nothing wrong with the suspension, The jeep dealer telling me there is no guaranteed fix for the leaking, But most of all, the $26,000 price...... awesome

  • @Childrenofthecornsno

    i loled hard.

  • @Childrenofthecornsno It is incredible on the beach though. :)

  • im personally prefer landrovers but this is an awesome vehicle especially cos the rubicon has axle difflocks

  • I will get rid of my 04 rubi when I see a Hemi in one till then I will stick with what I have

  • @iseesyouthere

they wont make a hemi for the wrangler from the dealer, as crash tests show the driver lossing his legs from the engine coming right thought the firewall.

Also they have set guidlines for their fuel consumtion average in their vehicles, which would require changing another one of their vehicles to make a hemi for one allready on sale, just an FYI

For me I'd like to see a turbo diesel in a wrangler ;)

PLEASE JEEP MAKE US A DIESLE YOUVE BEEN PROMISING!~

  • a friend of mine destroyed its engine

  • JEEP OWNAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Power windows are indeed upsetting

  • jeep is beast

  • No problem in my book the TJ's are better if you want to rock crawl because the coil springs have more flex but for mudding i would prefer my YJ.

  • Ok PingPYB YJ's were made from 1987 to 1995 and had leaf springs, JK's are the newest wrangler's and have coil springs, and TJ's were made from 1996 to 2002 and also had coil springs.

  • @The87wrangler thank you, sir.

  • @The87wrangler wrong man , TJ model years are 1997-2006

  • can someone explain to me what JK's and YJ's and TJ's are? im new to the jeep world and am planning to purchase a Rubicon soon, i am just curious on what these letters mean and what features they represent. thank you

  • @pingpyb Wikipedia

  • @pingpyb They are classification codes thats all WJ, XJ, TJ, YJ, JK ZJ, MJ, DJ, they mean zip, nada, Zero..however CJ stood for Civilian Jeep

  • @damnedboner correction, DJ stood for Domestic Jeep and LJ the tj unlimited, supposedly meant 'Long Jeep'

  • Hey can anybody answer these questions

    Wrangler or wrangler unlimited????

also which model(sahara rubicon for example) should i buy if i want to try to get into offroading

but ive never done anything more than go wandering in the snow on a non plowed road

And also ive heard hard tops leak

    is that true

and how loud are they on the highway

  • @TCB1468 it depends on what kind of tires you get for noise like mickey thompson's are really really noisey on the road the wrangler unlimited is the 4-door model and the rubicon is the top of the line model but i have a rubicon and its great offroad its a 09 6speed but i don't know about the sahara

  • Ok thanks

  • @TCB1468 For ultimate in off road capability go with wrangler rubicon (2 door) and soft tops sometimes leak when they get older, the hard tops are good! The only problem with the 2 doors is space. Don't expect to be able to carry anything if you have 4 people riding around unless you get a roof rack that is. The unlimited (which is the 4 door) is way more practical and has almost the same off road capabilities as the 2 door so IMO id go with a Rubicon unlimited!

  • @TCB1468 more stable on highways, more room inside, and will probably take you farther off road then you will want to go.

  • @TCB1468 Rubicon Unlimited FTW!

  • @TCB1468 Wranger2-door, then unlimited is a land cruiser. also get the Rubicon if you want to 4X4 amazing, the Sahara is the luxury wrangler. I have never owned a hard top but i have never had a problem with the soft top leaking. From what im told the new jeeps have great sound dampening, i own a 95' YJ, and I wear ear plugs when I drive because its loud.

  • Ok thanks alot for the help

  • if youve got the money for the rubicon, that would be the best offroader the most offroad extras that come with it. all are great choices though, cause their Jeeps! :)

  • Ok thanks alot

    :)

  • e pa os jeep sao grandes

  • Best car ever!

  • I have just bought a Jeep Wrangler 2006 model and it is such a fun car to drive.

  • I like the old jeeps i mean c'mon navigation in a wrangler !!!! They should have an option rugged or stupid. I dont want power windows nav or any of the seats i mean that really bugs me poliestor seat or what eva there made of. Look inside a 2001 jeep like i have and see the difference

  • hey uh brassfins the jeep logo has 7 bars not 6....OIIIIIIIO

  • You might have the right amount of grille bars, but his headlights are better than yours. Failed on your owned.

  • ahh i want this as my first car!

i guess it takes alot of gas....

how much about would a used one be like? hehehh

  • Great vid! Even more impressive with it being stock. The heritage just makes it even more awsome. Jeep is full of win.

    O||||||O

  • ohhhh thats a nce grill lol

  • I have a Jeep Wrangler X 07 all stock. can it still do this? or do i need to mod the engine? but my interior looks different =/

  • you need the off road tires and only the rubicon has the special features mentioned like sway disconnect and locking diffs.. the engine is the same.

Lift it and put bigger tires on and you'll be happier

  • I have an 09 Sahara 2 door and I've hit the beach and the sand dunes at SPI with ease.

  • @omarcuellar2 i love the sahara just got me a 2010 i honestly like the sahare better its still great off road but also has that cool suspension that adjust to ur speeds so its an amazing modle plus i love the luxury features for when im not in the off roading mood lol

  • man i use to hate jeeps and was in love with hummers but i got me a 4 door sahara unlimited it is the bomb

  • any hummer above H1 is an overpriced, overrated gas chugger.

    Jeep ftw.

  • i hate jeeps but $28k is not bad hmmmmm. now im reconsidering one

  • i hate the hardtops i like the canvas

  • yah there cool but canvas rots

  • yea but this jeep the soft top folds down inside the hard top

  • @123element678 I like hardtops in winter soft in summer

  • @corfroo yeah that does make sence having snow on the canvas would get anoying in the winter

  • @123element678 Haha ik right

  • y does the silver 1 hav a diff bumper??? iv neva seen it like that hummmm but i sure like it better that way

  • that's the european bumper

  • The new Wranglers have a solid Dana 44 rear all of them. Every trim package except for the Rubicon has a solid Dana 30 Front Axle the Rubicon has Dana 44's front and rear with locking Diffs. Jeeps rule

  • to the nay sayers, you do not build up a WORLD WIDE legendary status and survive 65 years of good and bad times sucking at your advertised specialty ;) nah, take your hummers and pickups somewhere else.

    Jeep, the one and only.

  • Does the X edition come with the electric sway bar disconnects?

  • not very impressive if i do say so myself, any 4x4 can do that.

  • so sexy

  • Not hard to find out, lay on youre back and look...

  • truekrewpuma, if you want to know if your vehicle has independent suspension just read the manual or if you can't find information in the manual, ask you're local dealer that you bought the wrangler from.

  • i have a 2008 jeep wrangler, im still not sure if its independant suspension...its not the rubicon or the x its just a plain 2008 jeep wrangler...can anyone tell me if it comes stock with independant suspension...im kinda new to the whole offroading/mudding thing and would like to get into it...thanks

  • jeeps have solid front and rear axles way tougher, better for rock climbing.

every model of wrangler has solid front and rear

    no independent suspension

    O|||||O

  • the x is the base model. after 1997 they all have independant suspension. have fun in your jeep, once you own one youll never go back to a normal car again

  • thanks man

  • No Wrangler has an independent suspension, I don't think they ever made one with an IS.

  • No independent suspension! All Wrangler models have solid axles front and rear. Rubicon model from 2007 on have the most advance solid axles that are bomb proof for offroad

  • You are right about one thing. Once you own one you will never wnt anything else. I also have to say all Jeeps MB, CJ, YJ, TJ, JK have solid axles not independent suspension. Jeep did get rid of the leaf springs for coil springs. Have fun out there:-)

  • Wranglers are pretty good at mountain climbing, they can get some air too!

  • Jeep is the real deal! Who cares if Land Rovers can go offroad, LR probably can't without all that technology, ex hill ASSist, height adjustment....

  • true the lr has bad traction in the snow

  • yea my cousin has been a LandRover certified technician for 8 yrs. they sent him to school and at the school they test all models in every kind of condition and he still bought a wrangler, he said pound for pound jeeps are just better

  • I went all out and got a Rubicon in 05, I wont drive anything else!

  • How much do Wranglers cost in the states? What engine has the base model and what's the price?

  • I love Jeeps

  • there's only one jeep! got it?

  • i seem to get around 14-15 miles at best with my 04 wrangler

  • lmao, this is a rubicon, of course its going to perform EXCELENT off-road

  • jeeps are amazing

  • what kind of gas mileage do the 2 door wranglers get?

  • 17/20

  • a one of a kind vehicle

  • jeeps are so awesome

  • I'm a J E E P maniac. I love mine!!

  • I loveeee my jeep

  • lol h1s comon people get real, there horrible on gas and in a similar video theres a jeep cruises by a hummer that got stuck on a easy trail. there s expensive and the funny part is you can get a better off road vehicle for way cheaper.

  • oor you can get a piece of shit hummer YEA LETS PAY like 35,000 for something that i have to pay 80 bucks at the gas station every week coool dude

  • so i can spend like about 20/30k on a new jeep? or i can spend 6 grand on an older truck then put 14 grand in upgrades. and have a way better offroad vehicle than the new jeep. i think the choice is clear.

  • You got that right. Though I bet you could build up an older truck with a whole lot less than 14 grand.

  • true. my almost all stock 97 ranger is as well equiped for offroading as these jeeps. minus the fact that its stick and would be hard on the clutch.

  • No you can't buy a old truck and take it were a jeep can go. IT WON'T FIT on the tight trails. I know. I have a 78 Chevy k-5 Blazer and a 07 Silverado also 08 JK X. The JK can fit in some tight spaces were the other two can't.

  • well considering my truck does better on the trails than all my friends jeeps id say im still right. and i say it does better because ive had to pull them out of the deep and shallow mud several times. even though they have 33" mud terrain tires and i have 30" all season tires

  • Yeah, 10! Thats the reason I sold it. I loved that car!

  • whats the MPG on these? I had an 04 and got 10MPG...yuck

  • Are you kidding??? I have an 04 unlimited and it's not that bad on gas

  • My 1948 CJ-2A Willys gets over 25 mpg and will go places the new Jeeps won't touch.

  • waaaaaaa i miss my jeep.

  • if I ever gonna buy a new Jeep, or just buy a new car, it would definetly be a Wrangler

    *c my vids

  • I would like to get a Wrangler.

  • hummer is better

  • hummer would be too afraid for this trail.

  • funny you say that, i just towed an h2 out of about 6 inches of snow in my Dakota.

  • ummm. H1 buddy

  • h1 is the worst vehicle you can buy

  • my h1 has done worse

  • mhm, have you seen the videos of a jeep going by a hummer that got stuck? dont be so proud of your truck, i do love hummers..but since you can by a nice jeep for pretty cheap, and an H1, which i dont think you can buy anymore? for upwards of 90k, its not worth it. AT ALL, think about it 'buddy'

  • most the people online with an H1 don't no how to drive, don't base your information of videos u see online

  • I actually own an h3 and it could probable do all this but its VERY heavy and I mean HEAVY.

But yea its got lockers and shit that gets over a lot

  • not just thaht it's heavy, it's size is also big

  • the H3 is actually about the same size as the 4 door.

  • I am a 2 door rubicon JK owner and this thing drives great on-highway and is an absolute beast off road. I definetly recommend it. great vehicle

  • This car is sexy! I would like to buy a 2 door wrangler, but the ?consumption? is too big ):

  • I like the new design. The back Square hardtop kinda makes it look like a LR Defender.

  • is it possible to buy those colored side flares, mine are that blakc plastic and it makes it look kinda bad...??

  • idk, you probably could, those are flares from the sahara model, you might ask a dealer about that

  • You can buy flare that match the body from many 4x4 parts catalogs. Google Jeep JK flares, cheaper than a dealer.

  • In Australia they run from U.S $29,000.00 to $43,000.00 ( not including on roads of maybe $3000.00 ) for the specs described in the clip. At 92 U.S cents to the aussie dollar thats a rip off. I loved my old TJ right up to the day a car hit me.. those side doors in the TJ offered absolutely zero protection.

  • To be honest I have a 89 yj that does pretty damn good offroad and my 07 JK will walk all over it. Just because the JK is pretty and not as rugged it does exactly what its supposed to when offroading.

  • Sweet man, keep making more!

  • haha you say thats badass? buy a cj7 or cj8 this is not badass

  • i'm sold! these things are bad-ass!!!

  • i bought a 07 sahara i love it, sexiest car ever

  • its not a car its a jeep:P

  • how can they call that a jeep look at the interior jeeps are known for how basic and simple they are, no stupid gps or whatever that screen was in the dash and all the luxeries you get in any car. you buy a jeep because it is unique

  • Sad day for Jeep. Jks sucks... power windows, plastic bumpers, mini van moter, 9 in platic gay ass fender flares.. Wtf. Get a TJ if you want to have fun.. get a Jk to wash and wax and go to the store or pick up the kids up after school.

  • I own a 95 wrangler Rio Grande. i spent everyday this summer wheelin in every mudhole i could find with my best friends father who is an ex professional rock crawler. The new JKs are Jeeps way of marketing our hardcore offroad world to your average suburban family. They are very capable off road and do not waste your money on a RUBICON. Buy an X model than upgrade the axles yourself.

  • I love these new jeeps. When i get my license and a stable job ill get a 2 door rubicon in silver.

  • how do you figure that the V6 wont last as long as the inline? it all depends on how you take car of it..if youbeat the living shit outta it..like most wrangler owners will...then yeah its not gunna last to long...but if its what you drive to the beach or to work and you take care of it...the V6 will last your "220,000 miles"....stop making up stuff that you think you know about cars

  • god dammit i have so long to wait before i could afford a jeep but they r my dream cars...rubicon fully loaded is the way to go...but not unlimited..tooo long for serious off roading!!

sry just had to say that after this video

  • you do not need to spend top dollar on the ones shown here, if you just want it for wheeling, you can get one in great running condition for as little as 2 grand, then you wont worry about beating it up on the trail. i have a 91 XJ that i TRY to get body damage, it adds character!

  • that guys voice makes me sleepy. <yawn>

  • I like how it still is keeping, to bad its a v6 instead of the perferd straight 6. Engine wont last too long.

Aside that with a few Mods, (and enginge change for me) you could get this thing climbing lots of boulders :P

  • rubicon looks like the x on the outside only the rubicon performs much better than the x. The sahara has matching fender flares to the body color. I love my sahara JKL

  • Rubicon is better offroad than Sahara. Sahara's outside is all in the same color, and sport and rubicon have parts arround wheels, you know external parts in black. I prefer rubicon outside because of the black parts and the wheels. The video is made with european series. American series are a little bit different at the front. Sorry my english is bad. Im spanish.

  • I'm trying to decide on a X model or a Sahara or Rubicon 2 door model but cant decide between the three and cant find pictures of them individually so that I can compare the looks of each to the other. Out of those three choices, is the Rubicon the best looking one by far or do they all look the same on the outside?

  • looks are pretty cheap aftermarket.. no need to spend the extra money on the rubicon if you arent looking for the extra performance.. if you just want a jeep to have a jeep with light/moderate offroad performance, the "x" would be fine..if you are a hardcore offroader, then i would go rubicon..the extra money is in more than just the outside.. the suspension and axle strength is different too..

  • Yeah...sounds dandy...except it doesn't have the inline 4.0, which means the engine will last 120,000 miles instead of 220,000 miles like the old engines. This engine is from a mini van...and has no torque...crap. And I own a 96 Cherokee and 96 Wrangler.

  • if i bought a jeep i wouldnt want a hard top or four doors! just a simple 2 door soft top 4x4 machine. besides the unlimited jeeps dont look like a true jeep anyways.

  • I own a 06 Jeep Wrangler and im not too happy with the new ones due to the size now there the size of a damn H3 and they discontiune the 4.0L with a 3.8L V6 yeah great HP but low Torque

  • that flex is sooo amazing for a stock anything. I need to get me another jeep again

  • yea and that's stock with the swaybars still on ;) It would do way better with them disconnected

  • Ive never owned a Wrangler, im thinking of getting one of the basic X's. When you disassemble the hardtop, do you pack it all in the car or you have to leave it in the Garage?

  • I got me one of them - put my deposit down on the unlimited yesterday (yay!!)

  • damn i need me one of them

  • Sweet!!
