Real good? Larry was one of the best and still is even though he left us. THe man invented a lot of the stuff thats out there today. He was under Vernon's wing. Yup, he was real good.
Larry was a master of misdirection and perfect sleight of hand artist; pure genius, every trick was magic even learning from his books was a delight. The visitors is another masterpiece & The chop cup is one of the best tricks and he does a great routine, learned 20 years ago and used so many times. Great
I am thinking about purchasing this DVD. Mainly because of this routine, but what else is there haha. Because as wonderful as an effect this is, I don't want this to be the only reason to purchase it. What do you think of the other material on this DVD?
The other material is good, but the best material is the oil and water and his single cup and ball and the triumph. yes I would definitely recommend it and his other "classic magic" dvd. enjoy the adventure and the search.
uhh i dunno if it is so gr8.. i swear i have never seen or heard this trick or anything like this.. but the first time i see this video i can perform this trick.. anyone want to trade can mssage me.
@sneakyz28 I don't know how long you have been in magic but Larry Jennings was one of the best close-up magicians in history. He could do the hardest of sleights and you should maybe read "The Classic Magic of Larry Jennings". I agree with you that in this video his skills were not shown at his best. He invented some of the greatest moves and effects in magic. Buy the book. Not easy material but a great lesson in close-up magic.
Darwin Ortiz does the best oil and water but this is very hard

it must've been reshot. you can see at 0:34 that the deck "magically" changes places.

Legend. The first and third phase seems similar to Ray Kosby's handling of O & W.
