The American commercial is better because it understands what the target audience is - young men, with little money, and who want to be a part of something. If Swedish army commercials had focused more on promoting patriotism and a sense of belonging, the Swedish army'd get more recruits.

Sweden's army is pathetic. No one will attack in the near future, and if they did Sweden would be crushed. A new studie has shown that it would take 2 years to mobilise the army, giving the attacker plenty of time. Sweden seems noble in the video, but their defensive stategy goes out on killing as many attacker as possible, making it worthless to attack in the first place.

But when a Swedish Luitenant comes across a Dutch Sergeant on the battle field, The Dutch sergeant has to listen to the Swedish Luitenant, because he out ranks him. They have to speak the same language for decent communication. So that's why European armies are bi-lingual.

Current Administration will reduce the military enlistments since with modern technology a kid in Utah can blow up most of the Middle East with his remote weaponry. While we may still need actual live soldiers, I am hoping that acceptance into the military will be much more selective so we don't get mental cases in uniforms that make matters worse. Serving the U.S. should be done by intelligent people not dumb animals.

The American commercial is better because it understands what the target audience is - young men, with little money, and who want to be a part of something. Sweden's army is pathetic. No one will attack in the near future, and if they did Sweden would be crushed. A new studie has shown that it would take 2 years to mobilise the army, giving the attacker plenty of time. Sweden seems noble in the video, but their defensive stategy goes out on killing as many attacker as possible, making it worthless to attack in the first place.

And both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were industrial cities, Hiroshima had an army base and Nagasaki had a naval base. Both cities contributed to the Japanese war effort. And all the conventional bombing killed far more Japanese people than the two atomic bombs.

Large country with large defence budget and generous sponsors = High risk of having a large precent of "below average soldiers" in their army , mainly because no officer realy needs to scrutinize each individual soldiers skill separately in order too execute a new budget cut program.
Small county with small defence budget; Harsh budget programs and constantly forced to trim off the "fat" of the army, leaving only the best to remain in service,

There's not much point mentioning it because everyone know their military are "the best", but despite that sweden got the best army in comparison with ,atleast, the US. Why? Because of the budget cuts. USA got A LOT of money and,hire A LOT of people and inedvitable getts a large amount of idiots/lousy soldiers into the ranks. Swedens military, by comparison, are being ransacked due to all the constant budget cuts and coulden't afford whasting anything on people that "dosen't belong" there.

Current Administration will reduce the military enlistments since with modern technology a kid in Utah can blow up most of the Middle East with his remote weaponry. While we may still need actual live soldiers, I am hoping that acceptance into the military will be much more selective so we don't get mental cases in uniforms that make matters worse. Serving the U.S. should be done by intelligent people not dumb animals.

I wish I could present an accurate percentage rate to back up these claims, but if you think about it, there's no way every soldier could treat another human being like that - thus, your comment is portraying that all soldiers would do that, or implying, when that is completely untrue.
