The fact that it is working at all is amazing since it is made from cast aluminum. It was the bottom of the line in the day and why they have such a cult following is a complete mystery. If you want a real sewing machine that cost a fortune and that will work into the next century, look at the Singer 15-91 or 201...these are real machines built like tanks and made of cast iron and do far more than this puny piece of poop!
