what ppl don't realize is that the Republicans have been supporting good legislation this whole time. ppl complain that they only say no and dont come up with there own solution. well they came up with there own stimulus packages, one was a no-cost stimulus, they came up with there own health care proposal, came up with there own energy bill, and they came up with bills like auditing the Fed as u can see. Wrong. Republicans supported trillions in bailouts and the government doubled its spending under Bush while the US dollar lost 30% of its value. Republicans don't talk about the Federal Reserve either.

The only reason republicans are supporting HR 1207 now is that they will not get re-elected without making a distinction between themselves and Democrats. Ron Paul is the opposite of Democrats and Republicans. He believes in less spending, less wars, liberty, abolishing the IRS and the Fed.

I don't have much hope for the senators, but surpisingly, rep murphy, who votes with the senators, cosigned. By the letter I got back from him after thanking him for cosigning, it sounds like he strongly favors an audit and will vote that way.

Keep pitching to the senators. It will be harder in the senate because a greater percentage receive money from bankers, but if they realize how evil the fed is, that could make a difference.
