Excellent video. Can you tell me exactly what type of philips head screwdriver I need to do this? There are many different sizes. Thank you.

Does it matter what brand of Hard Drive you go with? Do the screws etc all fit perfectly in the casing with a different brand?
I have m1530, and am looking at the "Hitachi Travelstar 7K500 500GB 7200rpm SATA II 2.5" Mobile Hard Drive"
Will this work?

Dell should be paying you for this video. No kidding! You just saved me a call to them. This is excellent. Many thanks!

Changing a Hard Drive in a Dell XPS M1530
If I want to put this hard drive into an external case so that I can back up data to another pc, what kind of case do I need to buy? What kind of drive is this? SATA, or IDE or whatever???? I'm a novice and dont know the difference.....HELP!
Thank you.....rmderenzo@aol.com
