@arielcardona Can I ask why you went for EMG acoustic pickups instead of a well known and trusted companies like Fishman or LR Baggs? Just wondering. Is there a specific reason or did you just like these better? :)

@Nickpatient mmm, several reasons: 1) they are the only ones, as far as I know, sold in Puerto Rico 2) I know EMG delivers great products 3) I like the sound a lot, pretty close to the natural sound 4) I got them at a very good price 5) I like the LR Baggs, but whoever designed the "hardware" SHOULD'VE BEEN FIRED!! That color doesn't match ANY guitar color at all, not even Engelmann tops. Not aesthetic at all 6) for some reason, I haven't had good luck with Fishman gear. That's why.

@arielcardona I also love the punch. My guitar is an Epi Masterbilt DR500M, which is a quite balanced sound, crispy but with good lows. Using the EMG takes just a little bit of the mids, which doesn't bother me at all.
