@DDzTec It's really easy actually, the problem is that is a long process, it needs LOTS OF PATIENCE, you need to edit thru photoshop every frame erasing the skateboard repairing the emptiness, and add shadows

Simple, the skaters are NOT on the street, parks, whatever. As you can see, most of the pre-recorded background buildings don't make a shadow on the skaters, which means they were latter added to the video to make that awesome looking effect.

Chroma key dude. CG Shadows. It's really obvious... still they did a great job.

Recreating the right camera angles can be difficult, especially without robotic cameras... that's what's most impressive about this. The lighting is pretty good as well, not perfect, but still DAMN GOOD.

On second though (after watching the entire thing) I'm thinking it WAS a computer controlled camera.

You do one pas with no one in the scene, then do a second pass with actors.

The skateboards can be done in one of two ways. 1) paint them green and use a chroma key. 2) masking.

Then just edit the layers together, do any little corrections you need to (like filling in missing bits of shoes), and add in shadows.

Simple... but impressive.
