Do not science and technology dictate the direction and form and belief and behavior of a society? Is not our entire livestyle and economy built upon science and technology? When is more not better? When is not more better? When is not more not better? How do you know?

@halflifeproductionz Yeah, I'd sure rather live in a scientific dictatorship than in a theocracy. And, it seems that religion is much more prone to spawn dictatorships.
