Wow! Very nice hotel, that pool is just long and huge. When in 2008 did you go? We went that year too in the spring. We also stayed at an Oasis hotel but it wasn't that one... check it out in my Cancun, Mexico video (it also shows our visit to the Mayan ruins).

The rooms are hot has hell couldn't sleep. And they will charge your ass off for any little mistake. For example you sleep in a couple minutes late and boom! 40$ charge. They charge you to use the safe. Hmm i thought it was all inclusive.

There is more shit they charge you for to. Plus it sucks they close the pools down way to early. The only good thing is the beach and the free buffet.

I experienced the opposite - the Oasis Hotel excellent - a wonderful 10 days I spent there, I wish to return there again.

This is the worst hotel in cancun. Do not go here the pool is nice that is it. The rooms are dirty and have ants, and mold the air conditioning rarely works and the food was bad. The service is even worse.

I just got back from there..

some guy started fightin me for now reason and when i wanted to get the guy in trouble, they pretended that they din;t see anything... pretty inept..

also there was a cockroach in our room. (probably because we left the balcony door open).

good expirience tho, the service is not bad, and so is the food..

fav restaurant --> Sushi restaurant, & Mediterranian... in the resort.. across the street is "el shrimp bucket" excellent seafood.

do not go to this hotel, we just got back, all the food is fried, the drinks are all syrup with ice, we had ants in our room, then got changed to another with no air conditioner. It was our worst trip nightmare ever. They gave us a free bottle of water for our trouble. Oh ya you opay for any water you want to drink, numerous people had thier rooms broken into at the Grand Oasis so be careful there too.

i was just there for a week and everything was great... service was incredible ....food was delicious.... and i was drinking tequilla that wasnt washed down at all... i was at the grand oasis tho, i have heard from many people that if you just stay at the oasis it sucks.... they are connected but you dont get to eat at some of the restaurants and buffets on site, and the rooms are not as nice, if you stay at the oasis

Restore all areas of mangrove and coral that have destroyed, and of course that you will be charged to foreigners as it is, a luxury tourist destination, commeasurable to any beach in Miami, will leave here tHIRTEEN times cheaper to consume and luxury, now those are the real fucking people?

This resort is very barefoot friendly in all their shops and restaurants. The only time I wore shoes in Cancun was when I bused downtown to the disco. Otherwise there is no need for them. Also the lobby floor is very smooth feels cool on the soles after you have walked in the heat,

Shit hole. Only the most inexperienced travelers would consider this a decent resort. My room had cigarette butts, a toilet that constantly leaked all over the floor for a soaked bathroom for our entire stay...but dont worry they gave me extra towels, the water outa the tap was brown at points, the ice smelled like ceptic, bars closed at 12 sharp, worst food ive "EVER" SEEN ANYWHERE, the staff are fuckin dicks...would serve you unless your holding american cash in your hand. Great pool though.

The weather, beach, and all that was great. The staff at the hotel was great. Other than that the people of mexico are dicks, unless you are giving them money they treat you like shit. They expect a tip for EVERYTHING they do. At checkout they tried to get more money out of us by asking for some donation for mexico.
