Not explained entirely correct, but it works, because you're basically shutting off enough to not have windows crash. You could use Hiram's or BartPE or any of the Bart clones to get the hash & decrypt it easy enough...but in most instances you can do most of what you'd want under admin once you access at that level anyways.

What the /release switch does is release your leased IP Address. You will then be required to obtain a new IP Address. All this will do is affect your PC.

You can always boot into safe mode and login withe the default admin account and just raise your user level to admin. Much fast, much easier, much more powerful. Most of the time people don't even change this default account, sad sad sad!

This isn't a Windows vulnerability; the command was put there for administrators to use, e.g (useful on a network with multiple users); therefore, even as a limited user, you can still access this command; but it most likely won't let you use it.

A vulnerability means a weakness in a system which can be taken advantage of, this isn't a weakness; and was infact put there for the people who are authorized, to use it.

Try doing this on a Guest, or Limited account and you will most likely fail.

ummmmmmm...either...completly erase EVERYTHING from ur pc... or go to control panel...add remove programs... and restore your pc...restore is the easyest... the restore makes what its called... the pc itself makes restore point without u knowing... look for a certain date and click on it... ur pc will be EXACTLY like it was that certain date... i always do it when i fuck up :D hope i helped

this is the simplest way turn the computer off, press F8 repeatedly then a menu screen will pop up choose SAFE MODE and then log on the administrator's account and you can do the rest
