@Ayrennar I'm not saying that C-mods are bad full stop, they're great for learning a song and getting to grips with how the notes are laid out in the chart. C-mods are there as a soft of safety net for a song, but people begin to become reliant on them, which takes the challenge out of a lot of songs.

@hyperviper90, well everyone has their own view on these kinds of things, but in my personal opinion, there is a point where C-mod is a must for songs. As you progress beyond songs that are easy enough that you can properly read the notes on x-mod, it becomes more annoying than it is fun to use it. Sure you can use a multiplier on your x-mod, but then a lot of the songs I'm talking about would then go way to fast to see the notes. I play songs like that a lot, so c-mod just makes it less hectic

Meh. If you are using 4.0 smo then its REALLY hard to pull it off but on smo 3.95 you can pull it off easy with any key notes but 4.0 has a bug where you have to spam click the triples or quads to even attemt to get them :(
