  • nice product, wonderfull craftsman, loved it thanks

  • What's the fuss over the tune? You can whistle 'The Saints' over the melody and it fits perfect. But I guess Autry had a reasonable voice, unless his horse was a ventriloquist! Great to hear it after all these years .. Thanks.. As for the vice, I have the hardware, so I think I will try a leg vice. Won't be a Benchcraft though. This hardware hasn't reached us yet here in UK.

  • Nice vice ;¬]

Does anyone know who's version of Tweedle o' Twill this is?

  • @ddichiera Gene Autry.. it says so right in the description.. ^^^^

  • @MrMeanderthal Thanks, I missed that. Nice video and even nicer vice.

  • @ddichiera Ok, but which one, I've played half a dozen on youtube, and none of them are this version.

  • Nice video, I don't care for the way u lay your planes down. I never cared for the french leg vise. But still a nicew quick video that shows nothing or teaches nothing...

  • @1990wildman What's wrong with the way he lays down his planes? I never got why you shouldn't rest a plane blade down (on wood). What could happen, the wood is not going to damage the plane, nothing will fall onto the blade or sole, you are not going to accidentally bump the blade with your hands or some tool. As far as I'm concerned putting the plane down on its blade is the best and most secure way.

And the leg vise is in many ways superior to other designs.

  • @1990wildman do we need the opinion of an amateur like you? I don't think so..
