My Toyota Hilux sucked, the turbo self-destructed after only 75,000km, the brakes gave out and the cost of replacing them gave me enough reason to scrap the truck for metal. Then my uncle sold me a 1983 K5 Blazer with a 6.2L diesel the only thing that ever malfunctioned on mine was the alternator which was peanuts to replace. I also upgraded from a Dana 44 to a Dana 60 and added dually wheels on it (along with the fenders) To be honest, the Blazer was a lot better than the Hilux.

I dont care what these show-most of these crash test videos just are not real world accurate. There is a major difference in slamming a car or truck into a brick wall with no braking as opposed to the same car hitting another car on the road, in which time the cars probably have had time to hit the brakes and slow down before impact.

If you bump a honda with this Chevy, the latter will have bumper scratched while honda will be on its way to a junk yard. Such tests are designed to show how toyotas and stuff like that are "safe" while the cruel reality says the opposite.

No, seat adjusts forward and backward, that keeps the belt in the ideal location all the time regardless of where the seat is. The seat frame is mounted to the frame. They just have to use strong seat frames and bolts. No problem if it's done right.
