It was rampant. I remember a guy on the loan side would come out to my cube and bang his fists on the walls and desk in total frustration. Unfortunately, the news is reporting that banks are profiting more than ever. People can protest outside, in the rain holding up signs and it won't make any difference. They're just laughing at us. So until people hit them where it hurts, it does no good. Sad.
@sbgreer It's quite sad, I am finding that most victims are staying with their criminal FDIC-member banks even though they are getting abused by them. Well, many rape victims go back to the predator. Very sad.
@sbgreer Good job. I've been doing the same, namely referring people to ASI-member credit unions. The big problem today is the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and the regulators. I examined the books and practices of American Share Insurance and found it to be substantially different - honest - compared to what I saw in the banking industry from when I worked there: Massive fraud.
In what region and district did you work? Metro or community?
Be sure to make a copy of this video for either your local DA's office or local municipal law director because USB does retaliate and print screen your upload for proof that you posted it at the time and date it was published.
@jbbraham To be candid, many FDIC-member banks did that and are doing that now. I've examined the books though of American Share Insurance (ASI), to find that ASI-member credit unions are clean; look for one in your area.
i work for the bank. i realize that we are not perfect and there are valid complaints, but this guy is a fraud. his actions are well known within the bank through numerous business lines. he manipulated documents and got caught. now he buys a camera and tries to act like the victim. pathetic. his demeanor matches his character. just another guy smarter than the rest of us that needs to make sure we know it. just ask him.
@largekid04 Manipulate documents? Employees deal mostly with computers, so let it be known there is no real way for an employee to "manipulate documents" at the our level. "numerous business lines:" I was there for less than half a year, yet numerous business lines know me? Silly. "act like a victim:" No need, just exposing a crooked system, whereas USB themselves admitted their crimes. And truly, I'm not smarter than anyone else - just honest and loving.
@largekid04 Love Jason, or hate him... much of what he says in his posts, are true. When you say "I realize that we.....complaints" is like saying "a little bit pregnant." One either is, or is not. Trust me, I KNOW US Bank. I know they accel in dancing on the fine line that exists between breaking a law, and just fracturing it. US Bank out-right commits unethical acts with it's customers, all in the name of profit. Google "US Bank class action lawsuits" Open your eyes, and realize!
@Psychmepsychout That "best bank in the country" recently admitted in a Consent Judgment Order they lie, cheat, and steal from investors, borrowers, government, and courts.
FUCK US BANK I GOT THE CASH BACK PONTS THING AND HAVE NOT GOT ANY FUCK CASH BACK THEN I CALLD THE USBANK HELP LINE AND THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT ON WHANT ON MY ACOUNT ONLINE AND IT SAYS THAT I CAN GET CASH BACK AND THE LADY ON THE PHONE SAYS THAT I CANT ONLY OF THE GOLD PACKEGD THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT CAHSE MAKE YOU PAY 120 A YEAR BUT AT HEY THE PONT SYSTEM IS ALOT BUTTER AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT
It is a completely different animal than retail where I worked, but I've learned much in recent years about their fraudulent, hidden, concealed operations with MERS and other entities. USB does it, Wells does it, Deutche doe sit, BofA does it, Bank of New York does it, LaSalle, most of them.
They simply use MERS to steal from their inside investors of MBS. It's a huge ponzi scheme. As Trustee, USB works with other fraudsters in the Trust to conceal their theft.
@jwerner79 The new "reform" bill has put the criminals involved in this ponzi scheme in charge of regulating. It is time for everyone to move their money to their small community banks. Madoff was chump change compared to the racket our government and the fed got going on.
@inspirediam The criminals were already in charge of the regulators. And yes, Madoff was a chump compared to them.
There are some good things happening though in law enforcement right now. Banks are really creating much in-fighting by making their law enforcement very angry in them getting exposed. Banks are being raided right now by the FBI and USDOJ, but not many people are aware of it; the FBI and USDOJ are using regulators to obtain evidentiary documents for criminal prosecutions now.
@oliverrainman Great question if I myself am understand your question correctly.
Today, I endorse ASI-member credit unions. American Share Insurance has their act together. On the FDIC side, there are not too many good ones, but I do endorse the style of business run by Third Federal Savings & Loan (TFSL). Does that answer your question? What other questions do you have?
@jwerner79 thanks for taking your time to answer my question i appreciate that i asked you that question because i want to choose a bank to go to but i want to know the best one out there out of the ones i know like U.S BANK , WELLS FARGO ETC
In November of '09, US Bank charged me a $5.00 fee due to my statement being returned to them. They did not properly update my address/phone #. I had a zero balance so went negative $5.00. Because I was negative, they continued to charge me DAILY OVERDRAFT fees. I just found out. The fees are up to $331.00 and they put me on check Systems. They said they'll only reverse 1/2 the fees and only if I continue to bank with them, otherwise they will charge me the full fee amount. I DON'T THINK SO!!!!
I agree with you. I just got a letter in the mail for overdraft fees in the amount of 900+ dollors! I havent even conducted bussiness with US Bank in over 6 months! I was never notified of any overdrafts. US Bank be godamned if there gonna get anymore than the orginal amount I owe them!
Banks certainly have a fiduciary responsibility to notify customers if the account is overdrawn, but states have been refusing to enforce the law, in a malicious and obstructive way. We need to get better elected officials into government.
Also, you can tell from your posts, you really had NO CLUE about management or what your job duties actually were. You obviously know NOTHING about the duties of a teller, vault teller, merchant teller, PB or UB or MANAGEMENT!! Grow up, find a job and pay your bills. People like you are disgusting. WWJ think of you?? If you say things really happened and you were told to do things that were unethical and did them or did not report, then YOU should have been fired! Dumbass!!
WOW! You truly are a loser. You have not a clue what you are talking about. From the videos I've seen of yours, you probably did take the money and were fired with good reason! YOU house has been foreclosed, you owe money to everyone...hmmm let's think about this...Yep, sounds liek you probably took the money. Do you really think two people went into dual and conspired together to get you? Give me a break!! Sounds like you are just trying to blame someone for your stupidity!!
Ok, you got me. In the year 2004 I magically snuck under the cameras and grabbed a whopping $1,000 to try to bail myself out of fraudulent lawsuits I knew would happen in 2008, which lawsuits have nothing to do with USB.
What's next? Are you going to tell me the Cleveland Browns are a good football team? Are you sure UFOs are real? Do you really believe banks are flawless? Is water dry? Is fire cold?
I just wonder if your present employer aware of this your video. if you are mad at your past employer and accusing them for firing you. How your present employer would think, are you gono do the same with them when you quit of get fired?
say customer brough check saying he won the lottery in australia... are you gono deposit it if you see it? customer is responsible too for these checks... BUT bankers are too be aware of these checks, and always, always, bankers ask customer if it is suspicious, where they got these checks. remember, know your cusomer.
Hey Jason,I have worked for the bank a little longer than you oh and you will be happy to know that your branch won Pinnacle after you left, once they had a sane manager to lead them. So USB is still ignoring fraud is it? That is an insult since I work in lets say a fraud unit and no I am not in FLC I am a actual fraud rep. Do you have any idea how many times we save customers from financial ruin with no one even knowing? Blame us for you um.. "short comings" if it makes you feel better.
Does the bank prevent fraud? Absolutely. But for something as obvious as the fraud, it should not be happening, ever. Third Federal does not have the kind of problems as USB, as an example.
Regarding Pinnacle, the first branch where I worked had won Pinnacle in the past, but was down before I got there. I implemented BOB when I learned it, which helped our numbers immediately. I did thle same thing at two other branches where I worked, and sales soared.
I work for u.s. bank in ohio, and am outraged that someone would say that there is some kind of scam going on there. I've worked there 8 years, and you have to something really bad to get fired. So the scam is on you dude. The ethics line is anonymous...so they would not know it was you. And five months isn't long enough to know much anyway. and you need to improve your public speaking, you were all over the place.
I agree that my public speaking needs to improve, but I'm at least trying to be real unlike someone who uses a teleprompter.
As for the scam at USB, I believe USB is still one of the most ethical banks in the country, but they still ignore fraud. Fraud is fraud, and it should not be tolerated, but most of the other banks in the country have the same practices of ignoring fraud.
Jason, your such a liar. Trying to convince people that customers didn't understand they were getting a home equity product is a complete joke. Perhaps we need to better understand why you were fired from US Bank? I am not buying the statement you were fired for $1000.00. My guess is you were fired for doing something ethically wrong with loans and now your trying to even with your old company and deep down you deperately want it back but can't because your not eligible for re-hire.
Hey Jason, I have to say it takes some guts to come out and talk about this stuff. Too bad the media didn't try to cover the crooked underpinnings of the banking system before we got to where we are today. Good series.
