Mr. Joseale65, I think you are a wonderful parent. And your boy is Going to be a star. Any negative comments are all out of jealousy and envy. I think you are a great baseball trainer and you and Emanuel deserve recognition. Your son is definately gifted by God. My 3yr. old has been pitching direct fast balls since he was one. I just can't get him to try to catch the ball though. Does Emanuel catch, if so, can you give me advise on how to teach my boy?

I wouldn't say he's a prodigy cause he's hitting plastic balls off a plastic tee... my son is 3 and hits real baseballs with a real bat and the balls are pitched overhand about 30 mph from 20 feet away. He was hitting tossed balls at 17 months. The most amazing baseball prodigy ive seen is "3 year old baseball player(turns 4 on 10-31-09).Now that's a prodigy... and dad has obviously put in the hours with him.

I really appreciated your comment but Im not forced him him to play baseball but hes since he waas 18 months saw his otrher brohtehe talenr playing and God gave him talents, is in the genes i played in Puerto Rico and comes from a family of baseball players, trainners and little legues president. @teamnunez77 Hi mr. Nuñez, well..you need to make sure your kid use the tee, is necesary and not an option, MLB players use them. Is always good to speak with the child and give him confidence, words are very powerful, having fun but being serious at teh same time is a plus...you need to teach him the 4 steps to the swuing.

@joseale65 in my opinion, that is child abuse. I coached my sons baseball team for 3 years until I realised what I was doing. Kids only pretend to like it, trust me, they don't.

I don't expect you to understand, but I just had to say it, you got a great little guy there, take care of him and be all ears for him.

Ask him if he wants to play baseball, do not puch him or influance him, let him choose. the best parents let their kids choose.

his swing is looped, with makes a hole in the upper half of the strikezone, and he is stepping out of the box as the ball moves towards the plate. It just looks like he has good hand and eye coordination. No baseball skill

just make sure that his front leg, make sure it doesnt step so far twoard third, that way he can keep the bat level, and hit things on the outside to left. you dont want him pulling everything.

this kid has got skillz, but this video is kind of disturbing...sounds like a marketing presentation trying to showcase his skills like he's a racehorse or something. I played baseball all my life in Pr. and one of my brother is in the Hall of Fame there. my 15 yrs old is a feshman in varsity HS and is in the top 5 In batting average in the entire state of Florida.

In the end DNA plays a bigger part in whether or not someone has the talent to play pro. How many guys never touch a bat or ball untill HS and still make it. You're either born with it or not.
