  • How did that protein get there in the first place?

  • Alzhemier disease is a multiple gene expression disease and is not caused by one single or multiple gene mutation and insulin actually worsens the disease. DM Diabetic patients have frequent hypoglycemic episodes will eventually develop Alzheimer's disease ! So be carefully what you watch on You Tube !

  • @kanyuek

Investigate coconut oil, ketones, and Dr. Mary Newport.

Then take care what you dismiss.

  • Skip the mouses--use me for your research--

    I am dying anyway----I volunteer---

I know I am coming down with this disease--contact me!!! Indianapolis, Indiana

  • Intereting. so if we can find a way to get insulin to the brain cells we can possibly relieve the symptoms of alzheimer. hmm...i wonder how scientists are planning on doing this.

  • No one ever cares about the mice with Alzheimer's that this will help. They've been dealing with all the same problems we have, except transvestism, but we all know insulin ain't gonna help that!

  • hmm, could insulin make a normal brain more receptive?

  • it would be helpful to a lot of people ...

  • Science Saves.

  • That's fantastic.

  • AWESOME!!!i love einstein id totally marry him haha

  • Simple, drill a hole in the kids head and pump that stuff in! =P

  • I like the Einstein picture on the shelf.

  • Umm... I guess then if this research pans out, you may eventually be able to take insulin IF your family has a history of Alzheimer's in a bid to stop you from getting it. But is taking insulin dangerous for people who don't have diabetes?

  • Your concern is correct, Robert. The challenge here will be to find drugs that act selectively at the insulin receptors of the brain.

  • im a type 1 diabetic. it's a little ironic. i heard that diabetes can increase chances for alzheimer's.

  • no alzheimers MIGHT BE a form of diabetics!!my brother is a type 1 diabetic too :(

  • does altzheimers affect mice naturally? or will u hafta introduce ADDLS into the mice's brain tissue?

  • There are genetically modified mice that carry genes wich cause them to develop Alzheimer-like pathology, including ADDLs accumulation in brain tissue.

  • kool, at least thats one less thing to hafta worry about
