  • looks a little like he doin the snake and tiger in these short forms in my school they teach 4 traditional styles of martial arts and i love it they are kung fu, chinese kenpo, tai chi, and san shou which is frekin great love my school!!!! =) training with a kool grandmaster named GRAND MASTER GLENN C WILSON and some instructers like the sifus sihings and sigungs.

  • very nice power. I assume this man is now a great black belt.

  • good..power delivered

  • I'm thinking about starting kenpo or another cool martial art next year. I'm (almost) a black belt Judoka. Anyone has any coom suggestions or something? about wich sport I should try out?

  • If you are looking for realistic, no rules self defence then Kenpo is the way to go. It is definatley not a sport. It's a lot of fun to learn though.

  • many....if you pick an encyclopedia on martial art, that you locate your search about a country of where it come you'll still have so many you won't know what to do. if you already have judo why not speaking a striking based one? the most important still is the teacher and the gym/dojo in which you will learn from. more than the style, it's the teaching and the way of adopting it and making it your own that is important....but who am i? just a key-board fat guy so pay no attention.

  • Keep up the kenpo spirit man(:!!!!!!

  • This is good stuff. It looks like a combination of karate and kung fu?

  • kenpo karate is alot like okinawan martial arts combined with Chinese Kempo. good fighting basics and great self defense.

  • Hi, Shodanx!!! omg this is f*ckin awsome!! i live right next to kenpo karate and i want to try it so bad!! is it EXTREMELY difficult like i've heard???

  • Hi,

I am - as you can see I have some really old Kenpo vids. Kind of neat to look back at them, I'm still looking through my archive for 5+ year old stuff I taped.

  • Thanks for posting, I don't have any decent Kenpo schools in my area, I teach Praying Mantis, it is nice to see some Kenpo..what org are you through? AKKI?

  • Hey, you were that guy that was at the studio i go to. You know, Steve Finn's place?

  • Hey - this is a really old video, check the date

    -Cheers

  • That's fair, it was just a quick run though of the techniques - I'm big on crossing out and I would I would say even more dominant on finishing. If you take him down, don't just admire your work, finish it - there's no game. If a student wants to reply, if you do a technique with me, and you start to become comfortable with it I expect to see some type of completion to it.

  • wooow!! that was...cool.

  • awesome stuff dude!
