  • I just wish these were alittle bit cheaper, its cool you can buy them seperately but just getting a few adds ups really fast and there are so many.

  • Would like to know what cab models are being used in each demo.

  • I wonder why, nobody do the simulation of a Laney VH100r :(

  • the soldano slo 100 kicks ass! it is really the heaviest and best sounding amp in amplitube! i dont like the recties because theres no chance to make them sound good without a tubescreamer and an eq....

  • I baught the modern Marshall for Amplitube then discovered the Soldano goes one louder ffs wasted my money gonna aft to get more credits now and get the Soldano.

  • I just Bought this today..the soldano is amazing..Thank You IKM for taking the time to do it right..i can't stop playing with it..I got the Vibro King too Amazing Job.....Killer software..I love it..Can't wait to see what else you'll come out with in the future..I love that whole custom Shop Idea too Very nice..

  • As with any Guitar Modeling Software or Tube Amplifier you buy, you have to adjust the sound to your personal taste's. This model is extremely authentic and quite useful. It Kicks ass, as a matter of fact...

  • This one goes all the way to 11, It's one louder ;)

  • if u tweak it enough, it does sound better, i mean just dont use the factory presets, tweak it up, worked for me haha and im lovin it!

  • Ok kiddos, the secret is to use a speaker simulator (such as recabinet) with the amp alone in order to get a 99% close to real tone; mix and match cabs and mics with this plugin (soldano head), and you will get what you need to record massive guitar tracks. Don't even bother to do single guitar tracks, stack them up at a minimum of four tracks (two per side) and you will get incredible results. Try it out and come back here to tell me what ya think. I.K. Multimedia is GREAT, tr

  • I purchased the Soldano from ik multimedia last night and was BLOWN AWAY! I love what it sounds like! Look for a demo video soon, over at the home recording weekly blog.

  • I use a modeling guitar processor (Digitech GSP1101) and I like it, but , as is the case here, the models hardly ever seem to sound like what they are supposed to. Here the mighty SLO sounds like dirty, hairy butt. (Sounds about as bad on the GSP). Search for videos of the Soldano and hear for yourself.Maybe it's just me...

  • @seraph127

Just you, sounds pretty damn good to me.

IKMultimedia..SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

  • @seraph127 Opinions and tastes vary, but we have had an overwhelmingly positive response on this. There's a reason Mike Soldano had IK create this in software form - our reputation, and these manufacturers had to sign off on the quality of the models of their hardware. He even sent us one of his own SLO 100 amps to model, not just any on but from his private stock.

  • @ikmultimedia Don't get me wrong - I've got the IKT Composer Trio set and it's lovely. Miroslav in particular really deserves more attention, and there was a sampled Steinway in SapleTank that was very nice. The modeled Soldano here just sounds to me like a bad preset on a Line 6 Spider amp (I've got a Spider III and there are some good presets too). Maybe if was parked in front of a box w/ the software and twiddled the "knobs" a while, maybe I'd get a different result. In any case, cheers all!

  • @seraph127 that's the beauty of the free version and try before you buy available with Custom Shop - you can try and realize it is far better than what you mention
