The issue with your kawi is that You are running low compression, My 06 kx 450f, has the exact same pistons. Like They are swappable, same..

Difference is You got a little more space between your jug and cylinder head, Shave that Head down about a thou and You are running like 12:1 compression. Sick kawi, but man, for that amount of time and money You could have had the kfx 450r bored to a 600 and running 140 horse, at 300 pounds weight

on sand, twice the speed up the hill.. you will ne be able to compete with any bike in your class if they have paddles and you do not.

Hey what's up man!? I used two 36mm carbs from a CBR 600 sport bike... and even then I had to do all kinds of mods to get them to flow enough fuel.. I go through a tank of methanol in about 20 minutes.
