  • 0:06

    1:21

    2:04

    2:48

Are great! How big are those shells?

  • thats cool

  • Do you know how to make kamuros, peonys, brocades, or crowns?

  • Yes. They are all variations on ball shells.

  • I wish I knew you irl NightHawkInLight, would be awesome to learn some things from ya! :D

  • Well maybe you'll get the chance sometime. In the meantime you could learn much from the members of a local club. I suggest you look into joining one.

  • The problem is that I live in Denmark where pyrotechnics is pretty much illegal. You can't even own KNO3 in Denmark lol... So pyrotechnics-clubs in Denmark will never ever happen. /:

  • At 0:51 omg

  • Very Nice Shells.. I absolutely LOVE the first one..

  • is everything home made by Michigan Pyrotechnics?

    ~Huttersvuur

  • There are a few 4" shells in there that were factory made I believe, but all the large shells and everything else are MPAG members work.

  • Its so incredible, U make so wonderful shells, rockets, well, U MAKE ALL PERFECT!!!!

U got this Gift for Pyrotechnik.

I cant do anything of this, beause i didn't have the gift, like you!! :)

    5*****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow amazing man (: 5*

Did you all make this by urself?

  • No, but other members of the club did.

  • wow okay man

    2:32 is <3

  • Beautiful video, my son says "He must be famous" as your videos as so good, we loved the last one in this video as it was like a space ship taking off

  • Haha thank you! That's the best comment I've gotten in a long time. Tell your son thank you for me :)

  • what are the stars called at 2:36?

  • Those are streamer stars rolled onto green cores.

  • That is beautiful !

  • wow that was awesome

  • nice stuff, definitely some very talented people.

  • wat kind where those wisel rockets?

  • They are whistle rockets, that's all they are called. They use a fuel that burns in pulses at a frequency of the whistle heard.

  • cooool very nice very nice congratulations..

  • OMG i really was born in the wrong country/state !!!! this is so cool, i would be addicted till the day i died !!! :P Cool video man, +5 great cam to btw

  • what was that second one, just a pure flash powder salute?

  • Magnalium flash weighted to the fuel side to make a brighter flash.

  • are those easy to make?

  • When are you going to post yours going off

  • Unfortunately not until I launch it...In December. The video description explains.

  • michigan is such a poor state

  • Yeah we could use a bit of a boost over here. Though I wouldn't mind the market staying the way it is until I've bought a house. There's great deals going on right now.

  • why is this reposted

  • It is not. You may be thinking of one of the other MPAG videos I have posted. This was from a shoot last week.

  • sweet how do you make the scream whislte?

  • nighthawk, what do they launch at 0:40 and 0:50? can you make a tutorial on how to make those?

  • Those are just black powder rockets. The second one has titanium added. I have a tutorial I posted not long ago.

  • ooh

    the seci\ond one looked amazing

do you know to make stinger missile fireworks?

    theyre pretty nice

i never new the science behind them

    and i still dont

  • 1:29 great scream

  • Siento decir, que sabes mucha teoria, pero el material que se ve la mayoria no es tuyo,no lo dudo!

  • So nice, im looking at the clolours, and i can almost put money on that the shell at 1:03 is the KCNKickthecat´s colour system, any chance you have knowledge about that? if you see the still in his color system vid (O3CI´s) channel, you will see the resemblance

  • I doubt it is. There are not many MPAG members that are active in the usual online areas besides passfire. It's possible, but seems unlikely.

  • why did you put music behind the video? I rather hear the shells burst, awesome fireworks though and the salutes are realy loud 5/5

  • Agreed on all points.

  • first one is the best

  • Wohow there's some really nice pyro!

Nice vid and thx for sharing.

    5/5

  • awesome stuff and 3:12 wooow XD

  • That first shell was so awesome!

and the rocket at 2.10 was nice too!

  • was your 5" multibreak shell in your video?

  • that was sexy

  • HOLYFUCK 2:10 gave me a bonor

  • lol

  • What?

  • That last rocket was crazy. The shell that took off around 2:10, how big was that? Were those minishells?

  • That was a 10" full of consumer class shells.

  • must have cost quiet a bit

  • It was actualy an 8" filled with Liberty 1.75" consumer shells. Built by a new builder. I believe it was his 3rd shell ever.

  • Wow, that's impressive.

  • 2:10!! its the best! :D

3:05 thats an interesting rocket ^^

    very nice compilation..

  • Dang. The least wrong thing that could happen that would prevent you from firing the multi break.

  • Ooh the sound that 1:30 made gave me goosebumps.

  • Nice!! some really spectacular shells!! I liked the one at 2:50 where the stars sort og squiggled at the end.

  • Wow, I really enjoyed your pyro session. The last one, with the whistle mix motor, was really funny. Let's call it a "halfway effect". Very innovative :) Thanks for sharing ;)

  • The last one ownz so bad

  • 2:10 is the best!!!

    (but they are all magnificient!)

  • aww boo, where's the multibreak you've been teasing us with?

  • I know I know...I'm doing my best to get it in the sky.

  • That was alot of nice work, i really enjoyed that last whistler, that was a new twist for me ;) maby something ill give a try myself in the near future

  • Yeah I'm not sure if that was a CATO or what...I can't imagine how the shell would have ignited half way through the burn of an endburner, which makes me think it was intentional.

  • Well i can think of several ways, or atleast two different ways to make that happen just throwing my head into it now, and thats just the fusing, so i think this was intentional for sure. but miracles have happened before... ;)

  • nice vid man <3!

  • imagen the first 1 not lifting and going off in your street xD :P

    auch xD

  • YOU USE JUST BLACK POWDER OR USE whistle mix???replay please...

  • Whistle mix is used in whistling rockets.

  • They are made with a fuel that burns at the frequency required to whistle when pressed. The several sorts of fuels such as this are suitably called whistle mix. They are dangerous to handle without proper safety gear, and even then are not entirely safe. If you would like to learn how to make whistling rockets, Skylighter has a great tutorial in the newsletter archive.

  • very nice vid

  • the 1 at 2:42 was the best it came very close to you

  • nice video, was there anything made by yourself with there too?

  • No, I was unable to fire my multibreak, which was the only shell I brought to the shoot.

  • so when u gonna fire it??

  • i cant een imagine howmuch these shells wouldve cost/or to make them

  • very nice vid.. nice done

    ~~mrbonbridge~~

  • awesome fireworks ben, i like the rocket at 2:17.

  • nice shells/ rockets. i really like the strobe type

  • You sir, and an effin master! Also, after seeing these, I see why you put so much emphasis on saftey...any one of these would ruin your day if they failed!

  • Indeed.

  • All of the shells were very impressive, especially the first one.

  • Oh man... I so wish I lived in Michigan. I already checked, and fireworks are pretty much illegal in Georgia. Really good stuff. I don't watch TV a lot, but I would spend hours watching fireworks...

  • Michigan is not a fireworks friendly state either. Everything that explodes or leaves the ground is illegal - without permit. MPAG acquires a permit for every shoot. There are clubs in your part of the country as well. Crackerjacks Fireworks Club, as well as Bluegrass Pyrotechnics Guild have shoots within reasonable driving distance from Georgia. Google them to find out more.

  • Oh, well that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for clarifying!

  • the one at 2:09 was spectacular!!!

  • ah, shell of shells! yeah thats good stuff :)

  • Wow! 1:09 looks like D1 glitter rolled on yankie's green flash core. Very nice effect :)

Anyway man, thank you so much for taping this for us! Your videos always deliver!

  • Awesome shoot - and sucks you couldn't fire your multi-break! Looking forward to potentially seeing it in December. Do you have any other shoots coming up?

  • Yep...The one in December...

  • wow thats awesome, if you think about it, those are like bombs, except not so destructive and a lot cooler to watch. What propels them into the air? just the first explosion?

  • theres a black powder charge at the bottum of the shell itself . kinda look at it like an old time musket .1st powder then the actually bullet (shell)

  • No, fireworks are not bombs...

    High explosives are bombs.

  • i know they aren't bombs, they just kinda look like bombs at first because they boom out

  • great vid man .. I'd love to see your work in real time!

  • I wonder how old you have to be.... Lol.

    I'm probably too young

  • 18 to join, any age may attend.

  • How do you rate them as class c and or the other class????

  • For a firework to be classified as class C it must undergo much testing. C is consumer class fireworks. Anything made outside of a factory is classified as B.

  • Do they ever have this near Traverse City?

  • Well within driving distance. People come from all over the state to MPAG shoots. It is usually at least a 2 hour drive for me. The shoot sites move around.

  • lack of proper mortar what does that mean like you made it too big or what?

  • A multibreak shell requires a steel mortar. In addition to being steel rather than fiberglass or HDPE, multibreak guns are also much longer.

  • 137 is beutifull still cant wait to se yours :D

  • So sad that we can't see your multibreak been shoot!!

  • Not yet anyway.

  • great vid

  • it sucks that you didnt get to launch your shell that you worked so hard to make but some of those shells were gorgous. im a HUGE fan of fireworks

  • Yeah I was disappointed, but it only means I have to wait a little longer.

  • awesome! 5 out 5 for sure

  • what was the second one called?

    the one thats super loud.

    pls reply

  • That is called an aerial salute.
