  • if someone were to re-enact the event using the audio from the 911 call as well as the initial grab then commands by officer one can easily see that witnesses pro metro lied because there is no way it would match up time wise. impossible when comparing testimony given of him standing idle pointing a gun in the direction of the officer w/o either of them firing even sooner or the gun was never drawn. perjury to the extreme here. they should come forward before they are sought for their crimes.

  • I believe that it was a murder and cover up

  • R.I.P. Erik Scott.

  • Las Vegas pigs have a history of shooting first, asking later, and getting the whole system to go along with them. The Mob wears badges in LV. They shot David Codrea for nothing, beat a guy for taping them and beats combat vets at McCarran.

  • @mattcares ... hey matt, thanks for being cordial. i understand your frustration. i have never said the cops were right or wrong. i think with me, being an ex-army veteran, i was very upset that eric scott was a west point graduate and this happened the way it did. bullets in the back upset me. i am interested in is seeing how the civil case turns out. i do believe the inquest hearing is a faultered proceeding. maybe i was a little rash in my last comment. and, i apologize for that.

  • @mattcares ... believe it or not, i just read your response to day. rather than argue, since the civil suit will start before long, i will with hold and comments. i don't think the police are suppose to make the determination...if someone should live or not. the courts and a jury is suppose to do that. i will say though, the witness in this video said he looked at scotts hand and saw no weapon. if bill mosher is your hero, then you are biased and there is no further need to discuss this.

  • @mattcares .... i am glad you care matt. the real point is, you were not there and i was not there. what you say scott did was based on what the police said he did. you want to believe the metro version that is fine by me. but again, since you were not there and i was not there.... was scott really reaching for a gun? did you see that when you were watching all this unfold before you very eyes? to say that he or anyone doesn't deserve to live, based on metro's account is not wise. peace

  • @mattcares .. didn't you even listen to the video? it said countless witnesses told different stories than metro did. you have a blind eye. you were not there and the witnesses were. you got alot of nerve saying the parents were boneheads. classless.

  • cops murdering an innocent man? i thought that never happened in america...

  • Murder

  • i just think its fishy that the video is missing and what police department would tell witnesses to go home after they just witnesses a shooting, i for one would not leave if i saw this shooting. i would want to tell that these officers murdered this guy.

  • i just think its fish that

  • Wow!!! My dad was an Officer for The Orange County Sherriffs for 30 years. The Best man at my wedding has been a cop in both Compton and is now in Santa Ana. Needless to say I have alot of respect for Police Officers and what they do day in and day out. This sounds like these cops are a group of Cowboys from the old Wild West.

  • if he was told to drop it, does that mean his gun was in his hand? no...therefore, why did the cops say drop it?

I support police and the work they do, but they fucked up here...and now they are covering it up.

  • What more evidence does the public need? Officer Mosher stated that Costco had orally reiterated a No-Guns Policy to Mr. Scott. The evidence suggests that Erik Scott acted arrogantly (no surprise) and did not comply with specific instructions. What exactly is the debate or unfairness?

If the Erik Scott attorney is really honest and ethical then what is his record of defending others in similar situations? Case closed. Check mate.

  • @naas000media Did Mosher state that they asked him to leave the store? No? That's right no because even Costco employees said they never asked him to leave. Next Mosher admitted he told Scott to "drop it". Please explain how to drop a holstered weapon from inside his pants without touching it. Should he shake his hips and do a bootyclap and hope it falls? Take your check mate and skip like a homo back to assclownville.

  • It is absolutely critical that Las Vegas residents attend the November 1st and 8th meetings of the Coroner's Inquest Review Panel.

The meetings are held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. in the Commission Chambers at:

    Clark County Government Center

    500 So. Grand Central Parkway

    Las Vegas, NV

  • Erik Scott family files lawsuit against police department. Police Departments are immune from such suits.

  • @naas000media police departments are about as immune from lawsuits as black people are immune from aids

  • @atab again. since you are such an expert.... if you are prescribed medication and will be or have been for a long period of time are you saying that you can never carry a firearm concealed? Is that what you were taught in gun school?

  • @atab... again the sign was obviously not posted and he was never asked to leave costco. dur dur dur

  • @atab68 wow we have atab68 from the ccw police here to demonstrate his robot knowledge. Its already been proven that butterbean said to "drop it". Please explain from your expert knowledge how to drop a weapon that is holstered inside your jeans without reaching for it? If a cop tells you to drop it and you try to drop it...is that not complying?

  • This is all part of your CCW training. As is the possesion of a weapon while under the influence of drugs or alchohol. I agree things could of been handled better, but im the end we are responsible for our actions. Listening to the majority of testimony it appeared Eric violated much of his training and that is was the end cause of his death.

  • I am also concerned that someone taking that much medication would still carry his weapon as that is a clear violation of law and instruction. The matter of a sign being posted or not is mute once you are on private property and asked to remove your firearm. .

  • I agree that circumstances leading up to the shooting the situation might have been averted. What I can't understand is why anyone who has had CCW training would do anything other than comply whith an officers commands. If anyone with recognized training has been instructed to do anything else I have ever been instructed to show my firearm first, reach for my wallet, point to my weapon, unless instructed.

  • He was on prescribed medication flatpat. Are you the CCW police? If you are please explain to me how you are suppose to drop your weapon without touching it? Also what is the rules on shooting someone in the back since you know so much about it. Like say someone invades my home and I shoot them in the back because they turn to leave...would I be justified? Or does that rule only apply to cops?

  • @willisdicfitcha

All Metro had to do is wait in the parking lot. .

Some people that saw murder was not called for coroners inquest.

Guy that saw the murder with has son around 9 years old now scared

of metro. Sounds like officer william mosher had itchy trigger finger.

When Erik was shot and down 3th police officer shot him in the back

like a COWARD! Ohh they deleted store surveillance video to.

And trust me its not over its just the begaining.

  • Thirty two different drugs in his system. Being under the influence while having a CCW is forbidden, therefore he was criminally in possession of a firearm. This point is not open for debate. That is the law. BTW that attorney is making a complete fool out of him self by bringing hearsay testimony on that T.V. show.

  • Justice will only be achieved via old school Italian method. The fat rat bastard cop Mosher does not have enough eyes in the back of his head to save him from the fury of Las Vegas citizens.

This could have been anybodies son/husband/brother/friend SLAUGHTERED by rogue cops for absolutely NO JUSTIFIABLE REASON! May justice come as a lightning bolt upon the wicked.

  • Magically video isnt working things that make you go hmmmm. Seems to fishy I say coverup. Maybe the citizens in that State should make a petition and have anyone sign it to have someone else look into the shooting.

  • Why would you feel the need to carry 2 guns, a knife, and 2 clips into a Costco on Saturday at 12:45pm filled with senior citizens. CRAZY.

  • @deuceswild76

    1. It wasn't 2 guns - It was a gun and a back up gun.

    2. a (small) knife can be used as a less leathal option to defend oneself, plus it never fails to work

3.It's reasonable to have at least one spare magazine just in case one mag fails to work.

    4. If I was a criminal (or a terorist), a place filled with a bunch of seniors would be considered an easy (good) target for me. Therefore CCW carry everywhere 24/7. No other reason

  • Justified Shooting. Good work LVMPD.

  • @naas000media

agreed... best cops in the nation.

  • truly sad...investigate the vegas police...funny how any time this situation happens the cameras are not working. But should they need video tape, they are always working. I think nwa said it best f*ck the police!
