Ahh thats ok, i bought a 427 small block from Shafiroff, it runs strong and sounds even stronger. Completely streetable, and runs very cool (as in temperature). only about 7 runs on it, best was an 8.5 quarter at about 140. But its oil pressure is running low, only problem i have with it.

ya i have since forged it all and getin a vortex superchrger for my motor, o and check ur oil pan if it sit to close to the pump u wont get pressue just suckin on the bottom of the pan mine did that cause i have no room under my truck so i had to get a new pump

no big or small block does not matter on the size of the engine, but the design of the engine. the 427 LS7 corvette z06 engine is a small block. same with the new LS9 which is 6.2L.
