@ShOtGuN666ZaN for ME I let the rachni queen live, saved the council, let Wrex live, sacrificed kaiden, had sex with Ashley. ME2 all squad members survived did't cheat on Ashley oh and I chose Anderson as the Human councilor and kept my specter status and destroyed the collector base . So in short I was 100% Paragon Male in both games :)

Important - i took legion on tali's mission, and he suggests peace with the quarians, oh and kept mordins genophage cure. and let jacob and garrus lead in End miss. so those 2 can be more matured in the next game....shud b good

Well if you killed Council, humans are attacked frequently on Citadel and it's pretty much a police state there.

With Council alive you only get "Ah yes, Reapers" and life on Citadel is like in ME1, only with more humans.

I don't think that it will really matter, cuz diplomacy will get blown to hell when the reapers arrive. So either the council gives you all their resources or not. If you have rescued the council it will probably just open unique dialogue =)

@CroGamer002 If you let the council die, the council races will not trust humans, the new council doesn't even want to meet you, so yeah in Me3 they'll be focused on helping themselves and the alliance alone can't take back the earth ...

The first thing Anderson will say on ME3 it's that you should go to the cidatel and ask for help (source: leaked beta). The Old Council also owns Shepard a personal favor...

Reason why new Council doesn't meet Shepard is to Shepard killing the old one. They kinda worry for their own safety.

Also even though humans are mistrusted, only Turian Hierarchy did anything drastic against Alliance. And that was the Cold War, which actually ended before Arrival, thanks to Admiral Hacket.

So no, choice of saving Council or not doesn't matter in Alliance's help to defend Earth in first Reaper assault.

Also Turian Hierarchy is actually letting Krogans to get cured from Genophage do to Reaper assault, I think they would hold off that grudge against humans do to Council dying.

Plus, Turian Hierarchy fleet and their homeworld Palaven is also getting destroyed by Reapers in ME3. I think they have their own problems to fix, before thinking to help liberate Earth. Same for Asari homeworld Thessia, according to that pre-oder weapon DLC trailer.

I think its really gay how that I didn't buy ME1 and when I played through ME2 the default setting is for you to let the coucil die. I felt kinda bad becuase my character was paragon. But now I watch this video and I say fuck the specters. They, including the council, can fuck themselves.

On the Citadel you choose Presidium to meet Anderson with Council if you saved them or without them if you didn't save them in ME1( default ME2 game doesn't have them saved).

It will be one of your mission after Freedom's Progress but you can do it whenever you want.
