The Bible itself speaks of forgiveness and love, it has never said, 'Go and kill those who don't believe.' How can Jesus be God and Human at the same time? its absolutely contradictory. Jesus can't be be perfect and not perfect at the same time. Jesus can't be knowing, and not knowing at the same time. its simple. read the story about the fig tree and Jesus. Jesus made a mistake. that is an argument that a lot of Christians have with God. I myself have gotten incredibly pissed at him and pretended that i didn't believe he existed for weeks. But one thing that I realized is that things will happen in time. Yes, half the world is suffering and dying, and yes, it blows. But I believe that our brains are smaller than God's, and that even though we might not see it and even though we might hate him for it, there IS a reason God hasn't stepped in yet.

no sweat.a few years when the band first started out,they were more hardcore in terms of how they sounded,but nowadays they have kinda slowed down their tempo and stuff. personally i prefer their older stuff but the new songs arent too bad either.

You know, your sad. If you weren't ignorant you would hear the lyrics, and yes, they are a christian band, but theres nothing wrong with that, as i've heard plenty of christian bands that are amazing, Skillet being one off the top of my head. At least show some respect if you aren't too selfish.

actually the songs that u talked about are new.the band has since talked less or rather written less about God on their record.old songs from their self titled album are about God,like this one.Arms of a stranger is said to be about a guy who comes home early only to find his girl with another guy. as for Lie to Me,the message is about the same.While the band has maintained that they are still a christian band, they have found balance in singing about God and betrayal by ppl.

no sweat.a few years when the band first started out,they were more hardcore in terms of how they sounded,but nowadays they have kinda slowed down their tempo and stuff. personally i prefer their older stuff but the new songs arent too bad either.
well well just glad that there r new fans more n more, good for the band =)
