Vestax tends to create dj gear for the dj's inner musician. Panasonic is no longer building the Technics turntables. I heard Technics now can go upwards past a $1,000. If I was a pro dj, I would definitely consider the pdx-3000 or even the Controller One turntable.
@pondsj01 you may only think its doesnt look like a professional turntable because Technics has been the staple brand for DJ's since the 70's. you would be surprised at who actually uses Vestax turntables like DJ Qbert and Mix Master Mike. I name those DJ's only because they have one numerous awards and even some DMC awards as a team.
@pondsj01 Clearly u aint used Vestax I've owned a set of vestax for as long as i can remember and i can rest assure you .. the build quality is faultless and still going strong after 10 years
@colintraveller Yeah, Ive used there equipment and know there one of the best, good torque speed etc etc... just from my perspective it is not aesthetically pleasing... Ended up getting good deal on Ebay for a new MK5G so Technics are still there if you really want... Now if Vestax made a beautiful piano black non plastic or bubble shaped turntable I definitely would have bought there's :)
i think these are nicer than technics. you can even tilt it vertically and it wont skip a beat! nice tables! i love the tone arm anti skate metal saftey clip
Anyone looking to buy a set this guy Ty is a top notch dude he got me the best price on MixVibes out there, which is true to their word on best prices. A great piece of software MixVibes seems to be btw, right up there w/ Serato and Traktor (getting it tomorrow, MixVibes).

That platter is kind of sketchy.
I would like to know if it was spinning perfectly with out buying 2 platters.
but still looks like a good choice vs technics

joidi2 2 years ago
@joidi2 Well, it's kind of a preference things. I would try out both before you make any decisions, because they are both solid turntables.
