I have been learning about her. She is Latina, intelligent, & likable. But she is also a closet Socialist, judicial activist, reverse-racist, affirmative-action hustler. If she is approved, this will greatly increase Obama's power. Her public statements (in speeches, etc.) are much more revealing than her written opinions. In a way, we can thank the Bush/Cheney idiots for this, since they over-extended the US & started a disastrous war that handed over the election to the Demo-Marxists. Shame!

Yes, in speeches she has HIGHLIGHTED her race ("La Raza") as a major competency factor--that somehow, being a Latina gives her special wisdom that others can't possess. Frankly, I do not care what her race & gender are. I want someone who was SUPERB in law school without affirmative action crutches, and who is a SUPERB constitutional scholar who knows that it is NOT THE SUPREME COURT'S JOB to make law. There is a huge groundswell growing against this affirmative action appointee.
