Fisheezeh: Steve Ewing (singer) has been solo for some years now, and the other guys are in different projects (Luca Brasi, Joe Dirt, etc).
I think if you cross your fingers, close your eyes and wish REALLY hard, they might get back together, rock a whole new album and start playing shows again.
i used ta listen to these punks back wen i was ... a teenie weenie ... fucking off the hook hey ... horn section makes ya wanna shit yo pants ... what happened to em, they still about?
I saw them at The Blue Note in Columbia, MO. They came out all in black except Steve who was all in white, and they had nothing but black lights on when they played this number to start. So awesome!
I don't know what those stupid fucking critics were talking about, Receiving was a fucking awesome album; to me at least that's like The Urges White Album; Master was an awesome album as well, but man to me Receiving was the fucking bomb.....Loved It
Oh, no doubt...I'm glad they listed it, then. I had no idea that the Urge was playing Pointfest in 2004. I knew about the Pageant Christmas concerts...but not their appearances at Pointfest.
What a fantastic blast from the past...it's a shame they never made it big, but it's also kind of comforting, in a strange way.
receiving the gift of taste was fucking incredible!

The info section says "Pointfest 2004"...so that would be my guess.
Pointfest has always been one of the best shows you can see in STL. I remember it's heyday back in 92-96. Some GREAT bands!!!

Thanks for the info -- the info about Pointfest wasn't up there when I first viewed this video.
