  • it actually takes place in the future

  • Didn't they have sock hops and rumbles back then?

  • Anyone else notice that the "teenage caveman" looks to be in his twenties maybe thirties

  • b4 women knew shame?I wanna hear more about that!!!

  • Didn't anyone recognize William Holden??

  • @chettmansberger

i very much doubt william holden would have gone straight from "bridge on the river kwai" to this, unless his agent had suddenly gone completely hatstand!

(see what you mean, though, the bloke does look a bit like him)

  • @norristerse

Dear Norris, you're certainly correct, and I definitely got my dates wrong. It's highly unlikely that W.H. would have been in this film. But it certainly was fun thinking that it could have been him (rather on a par with Robert Duval, who played Boo Radley in "To Kill a Mockingbird". He went on to such great acting acheivements, that he winced when anyone mentioned that role)!

Thanks for your response and may we all enjoy the "so awful they're funny" classics. Carrie :>

  • @chettmansberger

    cheers, carrie!

i didn't know robert duval was embarrassed about having played boo radley- he needn't have been, i thought he was great!

and i agree, this film stands among the immortals- long live the Teenage Caveman from Uncle (the last survivor of "the magnificent seven")!

  • A pretty good drive in movie of the day...dialogue good in places...good twist at the end.

  • The MST3k version is great.

Robert Vaughn is personally ashamed of this film. I don't blame him.

All the dinosaurs are from One Million BC. The only original stuff is the dog and the "monster".

Watch One Million Years BC instead.

  • @Tareltonlives Funny side-note... the "Monster" is only original in part. Mr. Corman actually recycle the costum from Night of the Blood Beast. (An earlier shlock film!) Even though it was badly damaged during filming. I guess he thought the damage gave it character! Never saw the Mistie version... bet its a Hoot!

  • @dukes0916 Yeah, that's definitely the same costume. I've seen both films. The MST edition is one of my favorites

"He's inventing swimming!" "Looks like he's inventing drowning"

"Bob, Bob, Bob of the Jungle, friend to you and me! Bob, Bob, Bob of the Jungle-*Vaughn runs into a tree, knocking himself out*-Watch out for that tree"

  • For a bunch of teenage cavemen, they must've discovered the marvels of Brylcreem even way back then

  • Their English is superb. Robert Vaughn is the lead caveboy.

  • Wonderful!

  • this movie Looks Like SHIT.

    and i LOVE it!

  • ... in SUPERDRAMA! lol

  • That is my Mom...

  • TRASH

  • OMG it's The Man From U.N.C.L.E.!

  • LOL WERE THOSE LIVE ANIMALS!?

  • @zeogeox Yes

  • Who knew that one of the teenage caveman's descendents would turn out to be Napoleon Solo?

  • They may be cavemen, but they sure took care of their hair uh !

  • And I thought movies today sucked !!

  • American International films were the 1950's...giant monsters, aliens and sexy women..what more does a 10 year old boy need anyway.

  • nothing else

  • WOOAH cavemen that know english haha i kinda like this movie

  • Cavemen speaking English. No difference than any other historical drama (ancient Romans, ancient Greeks, WW2 Germans). Now how aliens on all those sci-fi films knew English, that's another thing.

  • In SUPERAMA - Wauw!

  • ha ha!

  • "where stuped"

    The irony speaks for itself.

But yeah, this film is pretty horrid.

  • Ha ha thumps up!

  • Check out the uni-dillo at 1:29

Those things have been extinct for 100,000 years!

  • I remember seeing this film on TV in the early

70s.I was about 8 then, but I really liked it especially in the end when we learned that it was the future.

  • was that martin sheen?

  • No he is called Robert Vaughn or Vaughghfn :-).

Just ask a middle aged man from Denmark!

  • ok thank you i was just asking

  • I very much enjoyed this classic B-movie and its implications on religion, authority, and Jesus Christ.

  • Before women new shame..haha see!

  • before women new shame

  • Clean shaven cavemen with short hair? Blondes?

  • so awful, its hysterical!

  • Clean shaven cavemen, now thats cool.

  • jesus!

this film has stock footage from one million bc

    wtf

  • This is the classic 1950s and 1960s voice-over guy on the trailer narration too. Gotta love it. "Superama?" More like "Sufferama."

  • See footage lifted from Irwin Allens Lost World.

See hoe deceptive this promotion is.There not really Cavemen-certainly not of our past.

  • The MST3K of this movie is one of my favs -- doughy guys and well coiffed cavemen! RV saving the world before MFU!

  • Too bad it wasn't a straight exploitation film that the title and trailer suggested.

  • even back then ....BLONDES!!!yes!!!!nice job fightin that job too, dont it know how to bite?or wuz it just fukin around and they 4got to tell vaughn?ahahhaah

  • have you seen the film at all? it wasnt 'back then' but it was set in the future /after nuclear holocaust/..

  • MST3K did a fantastic job riffing on this Roger Corman "classic"...The word is the law and the law is the word!!

  • everyone's better for it

  • hhhheh heeee it's the Man From Uncle!!

  • It sure is! Before he rid the world of Thrushies, he did the same with rubber lizards ;-)
