For the crossover start many of my coach told me it was more efficient to use the outside leg first then inside leg cos u have less power with your inside foot than your outside foot, plus you gain more distance more quickly. Not a professional like you, just saying what we told me.

i work at a rink and play hockey, and just from experience the feet apart stop your referring to IMO is a quicker stop, but you'll never get moving again anytime soon, in all honesty the feet together stop 'hockey stop' that he was doing is by far a better way to stop, balance wise and how quickly you'll be\ able to keep moving.

People always say it's not about the equipment you wear it's the guy that can skate shoot and score. But the only problem is that if you have let's say skates from like the 50's and there's a guy that has like Vapors or Reebok's or something like that the guy with the better skates sometimes will win most often. With shots you can get a nice shot with a wood stick but you get a better shot with a composite.

@bukakee1 Just practice, I used to have problems doing everything the opposite way, crossovers, stopping, backwards crossovers, and this, you pretty much have to learn to do it one way, then the opposite way, and it usually depends on the way you shoot to determine which way you will be better than the other
