@TheStatDropper he wasn't unfaithful....the girl that shot him was his girlfriend but he was separated from his wife at the time so he wasn't "unfaithful"
I was very saddened to hear the news Saturday 7/4. I watched Steve's career blossom from the moment he was selected 3rd by the Oilers. As an Oilers/Titans fan, there was none better than Air McNair. The team took on his persona of toughness, persistence, and endurance to get the job done. My prayers are with the McNair family, especially his wife and kids. A sad, sad loss. This one hurts.
The only player on the Chargers in the last 20 years close to Steve in talent and toughness is LT. I don't agree with his off the field antics that ultimately cost him his life, but on the field, He's a Hall of Famer, first ballot.
Just because someone didnt make it to the Hall of Fame doesnt mean they sucked. Plenty of players dont make it. Regularless of him cheating on his wife its still terrible when someone dies.
R.I.P Steve Air Mcnair I might be a wide receiver but your toughness has inspired me for a long time your the gretest a salute to the best Steve you will be missed god bless
mcnair was the best player then he went to the ravens..... wich pissed me off i have foot balls and pictures autoed by him when he played but no he went to the ravens
McNair was one of the passionate , and kind guys in the nfl. Nobody had the mind frame he did , and that's exactly why I loved him he never talked bad about any players , or coaches he was a real standup guy and in my opinion the nfl will never be the same or see such a wonderful Q.B it didnt matter if he played for the titans or ravens he was thankful to be playing his favorite game
He Will Always Be A Titans He Was The Best Qb And Should Have Been MVP by himself that year Its sad I Wish he Would Have Won A Superbowl He was one that truly deserved it I Wish He was Still playing His Heart Was Bigger than Anyones
On top of being a great qb, he was humble, charitible, and Tennessee fans adored him. Always will. He had some good ones with him, but ask a titan fan who first comes to mind, now & then...it'll be McNair. He played so hurt that any other man would've left the field. Not Steve..he didn't want to come out, they had to make him. Tough, had class, and will always be remembered. Luv ya Steve!
Its all about money, and those pro players know that, there is no in between! For owners, if its not financially smart, they could care less that u grew up around the corner form the stadium!!! U getting shipped off!!!
Im a Ravens fan, and one who appreciated McNair. People critisize him for his last year but people don't realise that he was getting older and he was beat up....and its amazing how they forget about his pro-bowl 2006 year(first year with the Ravens) it really makes me angry....He is one of the greatest of all time.
i love mcnair,he better make the superbowl, him and brady are my favorite 2 quaterbacks of all time, but yea i really love mcnair,he was amazing, ill be so pissed if he dosent make the hall of fame.He could throw deep, fast, and with accuracy, and could scrable, not to mention got over 30,000 pass yards and 3500 rush yards, and also one of the toughest QBs of all time,if he dosent make it hell be one of the best and underated QBs to not make hall of fame
He should be a hall of famer. He is one of four qbs with 30,000 passing yards and 3,500 yards rushing (others are Steve Young, John Elway and Fran Tarkenton). Tough as nails qb, but also humble. Loved watching him play.
Im a ravens fan and I respect mcnair he got my team to the playoffs with no offense. I hope he retires as a titan becuase when he was on the ravens and we played the titans the fans still cheered for him
Steve McNair is a class act. When he shared the league MVP with Peyton Manning, he was very humble. Whinny baby Manning said he wished he did not have to share it with anyone. We miss you Steve in TN.
man im from chicago. im a die gard bears fan. but i loved steve mcnair. he was my favorite. i would take him over brady or manning or even montana. i loved him. i was upset wen he retired. he was a great qb. good luck in the near future mcnair. you played well every sunday.

Great on the field, but it's sad that the last thing he'll be remembered as is an unfaithful husband.
