How do you level up pets??

what is the highest level that pets can go without modding? I see all these people with high level pets D: But i have never myself come across one that levels that high.

@RAWRizAmonster The highest level pets come from survival rewards and tavern after high waves on survival. Ive seen them 150-200ish from there, but havent spent much time in survival since nightmare came out

this is kind of embarrasing to ask since I am more than seventy hours into the game but how do you level up pets and weapons?

@capucchan8 Hero Info, click on the item u wanna upgrade

I forgot what buttons to press after that, if any, but you should find yourself in a window showing the item stats. On the bottom right, there is a button that lets you "invest" mana into your items. Invest mana and the item levels up.

barbarian uses squire animus, also lots of nerfs in this patch

@acetraker1988 tell me about it. the app tower nerf is killer. at least they buffed mana bomb, though that is little consolation

Thanks for the guides! they are awesome, but where do you find pets 150+ upgrades? I noticed one of the your pets with 163 upgrades? I did your pet farming on spires and buying from the tavern but the highest i got from there is 120 i believe. Thanks for the info man

@lllostsoulll I believe you can get pets 150+ from doing the same thing from spire with the tavern, but on NM HC Mistymire instead.

Considering I spent close to 100 hours on open, rather than ranked, just because I didn't know the difference, (I guess it was the swords to me, Ranked sounds much more like PvP, so I stayed away from it as soon as I saw it) I kinda depend on his guides. MoPower is the man, and best DD instructor I've found.

Didn't Trendy say that all Mythical pets scale the same as an animus now? Meaning the lvl 74 required pets.

@lynfiord I havent heard that, but even if that is the case... Animus is still going to be more useful due to 3 projectiles and shooting thru walls.
