Yeah. Part of the story is based in CERN, and Antimatter is a main part of the book, which is produced there. I believe they do make the Antimatter at the LHC in the book, although this is where it gets into fiction, because it would be impossible to make a Antimatter bomb like in the story.

Skeptical here-but I read up other wise (not just Brown's book) that it was discovered in the 1990's.-but Paul only predicted the existence of Antimatter through the Dirac Equation -er, the Dirac Equation lead to such a prediction as the existence of Antimatter. Otherwise, I believe CERN proved his prediction.
