knowing about cats or not, it only takescommon sense to know that birth is uncomfortable, painful and many kittens don't even make it. you could have had the f***ing decency to put an open cardboard box next to her w/ some clean soft blankets/towels in it. Instead of filming this 'beautiful' event.. And then you just left? Are they all just dumb & insensitive in your country or is to just you? You could have taken mom & kittens home, even if it was just temp so they had safe place to rest.

It's probably better that it was left alone if this was a random stray cat. If you approached it and the mother cat didn't trust you, you can be attacked. The mother instinct is strong with cats. When my cat gave birth, I was the only one in my house that could safely approach the kittens for the few days. We got the cat only two days before it gave birth, so she didn't trust everyone yet.
