Wow, its rare to find the closing credits without a voiceover or seeing them "crunched" to show a promo! Thanx for sharing. As for the final episode...."passages" is the series finale. ABC left five episodes unaired after showing the finale, which they finally aired sporadically in the summer of 84. "fonzies spots" was the last original episode to air in SEP. 1984. Buy it and the four other episodes all take place before the events in "passages."
After "Happy Days" ended in '84, guess what, Miller and Boyett said goodbye to Milkis and started to to film their next show that would premiere in the fall of '85 called "Perfect Strangers".

AP - It was a constant in American television for more than a decade: Viewers could turn on their TVs and find Howard Cunningham in his armchair, reading the newspaper and providing a fatherly voice of reason to young Richie Cunningham and his friends on "Happy Days."
These credits were from the next-to-last episode, which aired on May 1, 1984. The series finale that immediately followed showed Joanie and Chachi's wedding.
I still find it pretty amazing that the ABC network kept Happy Days in the 8:00 pm timeslot on Tuesday nights for the majority of its run. In the last season (1983-84) the show was moved back half an hour, to 8:30. By then, it was clear that it could no longer compete with NBC's The A-Team, which aired directly opposite the aging sitcom.

I like the final season THEME the BEST. Yet the hairstyles and most of the clothes looked 1980's. Even Howards glasses.
