at first i really hated the 9th season and also the new theme song cuz it's just not scrubs!! i've even refused to watch the new episodes (at first) i actually loved scrubs the way it was but now the new song and the new story are sooo different i just think they should have made another season in the hospital with the same characters and they shouldn't have been afraid of another season in the hospital being too boring cuz everyone loved it that way!!! I JUST WANT THE OLD SCRUBS BACK!!! -.-

Season 1-8, one of the finest shows ever with the best finale in television history. Season 9, if viewed as a spin-off, is really good. If viewed as a direct continuation, then the show's slightly degraded. So far, season 9 (or, Scrubs: Med-School as I shall reffer to it as), is good. Not amazing, but entertaining, amusing and dramatic television.

Anyway, I'd quite like to know who does this cover? Have they got a full version of their cover of superman. I worryingly likes it. :P.

I'm watching the show for the first time tonight. It's sorta weird to see a female JD (Lucy?) but other than that, I like the cameos of the characters from seasons one through eight. Particularly Cox and Turk, in their scenes together and separate from one another.

And Bill Lawrence actually said on Twitter once that he wanted to make Season 9 of Scrubs a spin-off but ABC (or whoever it was) wouldn't let him change the name so they just had to go with Scrubs Season 9.

I'm a fan of Scrubs and and I think Lazlo Bane is great and I am a fan of Waz (who did the new version). I'm really rooting for the new Scrubs. Bill says it's a different show and wanted to rename it but ABC would'nt let him. I like the old and new versions of the theme song for different reasons. He had a song on Scrubs Season 8 called Hardly Enough.Waz is a singer-songwriter who got his start playing guitar for many years in Pete Yorn's band.

It's a change but I'm glad scrubs is still there you know? I mean yea it'd be better if it was all the original cast but this is like passing the torch. JD was my favorite character and I pride myself on being one of the biggest scrubs fans out there (hence my name), but this is like a passing of the torch. Everyone moving on keeps the show based in reality and on a show that has so many quirky, slap stick humor gags in it, a little reality is important.

oh my god this is horrific. not so much the song is bad but the fact that they changed it from the old one which was soo much better and now whenever i hear the old one ill get depressed. and season 9 "totally rocks"? my god are you a real scrubs fan or not? The new episodes are by far the worst ever created. I never would have gotten bored with the old ones. J.D. was so much more quirky and actually entertaining not annoying. as soon as he leaves in episode 6 the show's ratings with plummet.

The show is great because Bill Lawrence is writing it. Not because you got so used to the same characters and nothing ever will be good. I just preferred the old scrubs so much more over this one, and just wish they had let it go out in season 8, which ended spectacularly. bill lawrence is great, but i dont orgasm whenever i see anything he does, especially if it is a once-great show with almost all the original settings and characters removed until it is an insult to the previous seasons.

Well I disagree, I think all the new characters have the potential to become a new cast of people that will be loved for years to come. Whether you loved or hated Frasier it didn't affect how everyone thought of Cheers did it? Same thing with laverne and Shirley, or any Happy Days spinoff.

And to me these eps were just as good as the ones in Season 8. Which is tied with 6 for my favorite season.

Season 8 was, in my opinion, the worst season (although season 6 was pretty good). I think the old ones are the best (season one the best, season two second best, and so on). And i agree that the ones now are most like the season 8 episodes, only I didn't really think season 8 was that funny. So i see why you like the new scrubs so much.

Well Season 8 only got the tie cuz the finale was spectacular. Most people will say that that was their favorite Scrubs episode. But Season 6 was what it tied with. With laverne dying and super funny jokes, that was prolly my fave too. Plus I loved Kim.

But those are all old school shows. You've never heard of Cheers? lol.

And Season 1 was cool, but I don't think that was nearly as funny as the middle seasons. (Like 3-6), JD wasn't nearly as funny as he is know for. Acting really fruity, etc.
