The game sucks. Well, at-least the demo does. It's more like an interactive cut-scene than a game. The gameplay is nonexistent, the bosses are ridiculously cheesy/generic, the story is generic (but I'll let that slide) and did I mention the gameplay is pretty much nonexistent? At-least the graphics are decent.

All of you "God of War" fans are retarded. First off "God of War" isn't the best slash and dash game franchise out there, "Devil May Cry" is. Capcom released "Devil May Cry" in 2001, Sony released "God of War" in 2005. Considering Capcom is also creating this game it doesn't look like they are trying to one up anything. Toei even went to top it with "Kai" - whether you think it worked or not is moot, because the attempt alone is proof that the show was flawed.

But that's beside the point. Video games, as entertainment and as storytelling devices, build upon the old to create the new. Even GoW took inspiration from its own sources.

You see, Avatar and Dragonball Z both had explosions, big noises, and simple stories with no depth (Well, Avatar had depth, but it was just Dances with Wolves and all over again, except not as good).

The Dragonball series was decent for a kids show, but Frieza's saga really molded the future of every episode in the series. Making Dragonball into a repetitive mess. I liked the show when I was a child, but when I look back at it, it was just lackluster in general.
