No, he hasn't but he has acknowledged the quote that inspired the song's lyrics :

"Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth." Samuel Langhome Clemens aka Mark Twain (1835—1910). I have no doubt these other folks were aware of the quote? There's been a number of songs that have used pieces of Twain's famous theory!

Thanks for your reply. I wasn`t aware of the original inspiration for the quoted lines and apologize for incorrectly suggesting that Paul may have overlooked a writing credit. FWIW I believe that Mark Twain owned a Martin guitar.
