I don't see the need to hunt them considering the fact the arctic is warming and the habitat for harp seals is becoming endangered. The hunt is pointless.

He is a new born harp seal. That's left overs from the fluid that covered his body..The seal is a yellow coat. They are usually bloody when they are born..
