Interesting to see this. I worked on this shoot for W Magazine which turned into a book and these films. It was a hectic schedule. Everything was shot in less than 4 hours but preparation for the shoot went on for at least a week beforehand in a studio in LA. Glad I was a small part of this but it was another photo shoot to me.

I saw this exhibition in London, the book which was sold at the venue now sells in excess of £2500.00!!!!!! This collaboration between Madonna and Klein was just breathtaking, strange and affected, really earie but intriguing, shes a piece of art, not many could get away with this but she did, shes an icon in touch with the world around her.

thanks for sharing! you captured the atmosphere of the exhibit well. it's very cold work. makes me wonder about that whole American life period...it was all very nightmarish. Is the soundtrack from the exhibit?

This is why I've remained interested in Madonna throughout the bullshit. Steven Klein is a hit or miss for me, but when he hits I find his work very exciting. One of my favorites. :)

His work with Madonna in particular is great.
