Ive had seperators in my mouth for 2 days now and it hurts like hell. i cant even eat or press my bottom and top teeth together cuz it hurts. just waiting until monday to band my braces.

Ouch! They hurts so bad! They kept snapping when they where putting mine in so they had to do it about 5 times per tooth and I got 8! Then she did one wrong, put it in to far, and we had to go back! I can't even eat now! OUCH!

I got blue ones, than clear ones, and now I have to get more on Friday! I am scared, even though I've had them before.

(And I still have braces, and soon braces and spacers, and my expander is coming offfffffffff!)

i have spacers in now, and they hurt, i couldnt imagine braces, spacers, and an expander all at once.

OMFG i got those but i didn't have color. They were clear. But when you first get them it feels like your teeth are bouncy or whatever but they don't hurt until after a few hours then the pain kicks in. especially the day after when you wake up it feels like somebody kicked/punched you in the mouth but after 4-5 days you hardly notice them lol

It depends you usually have them for about a week but it can be as long as 10 days! I currently have spacers and I am getting them off thursday! Yes... I only had them for three days.

Braces suck, I had them on for about a year and a half about a year and a half ago. Along with another appliance, which BOTH sucked ass. Then after, I had a retainer in for a year, I'm not 'supposed' to eat all this shit, but no one notices or cares, the orthodontist does NOT care that I have been eating all this shit... So yeah.

And today in 11 hours I am getting the damned things. Lucky me hey? Only for another year. Then hell - it'll be over. Thank god. Damn braces...

I know rite!? Rlly I drink pop, chew gum, and eat ice AND i had to get my expander replace cuz i messed it up, bloddy, well not rlly like only a lil' bit of blood. Braces don't hurt AT ALL when you get them on, RLLY I HV THEM!! Hope it Helped!! :D

These spacers hurt soooooo bad....i cant eat anything but rice....and they hurt when i close my mouth or when they bumb each other.

Since you will have ur braces by now, you'd have the answer to ur question...yeah, the spacers are removed when the braces go on. They're just there to create the gap for the silver rings to fit more comfortably around the molars.
