I'm a rather vocal Democrat who believes in the democratic party and it's ways. That being said. I had a long talk with a good friend of mine a while back. It was about Ron Paul. Great rant. We're definitely in the "then they attack you" phase of this victory. Some horrible lies are being said about Ron Paul and his supporters. Completely unfounded things that attempt to scare away new supporters and people who think they're actually "conservatives" from the true conservative Libertarian foundation. I hate this war as much as anybody but it is naive to think we can just pull out and leave immediately.Bush has quagmired us just like Vietnam and if we immediately pullout who do you think will takeover? it sure won't be the Iraquis. He is the only candidate who will not be used to by some Americans to rule, control and rob other Americans. Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands that freedom is the solution to the human condition. This is a whole new ball game. This is not one group against another.

I hate to break it to you but we have a two party system and voting for any member of a party keeps the rest of the people in that party in power. A vote for Ron Paul is a reward to the republican party for terrible job they've done in the last two terms. Do they really deserve that? If Dr. Paul coming to power would mean that the rest of the republicans would be out of power they would have reason to allow him in the party.

ehhh, actually Clinton illegally wiretapped millions of Americans, raided the social security fund to make it look like we had a balanced budget, which we didn't, and he signed the Iraq Liberation Act, setting the foundation for Bush's invasion.

Great rant. We're definitely in the "then they attack you" phase of this victory. Some horrible lies are being said about Ron Paul and his supporters. Completely unfounded things that attempt to scare away new supporters and people who think they're actually "conservatives" from the true conservative Libertarian foundation. All it takes is a little thinking for that "OH YEA!" moment to hit you. Then Ron Paul is the only candidate on either side that makes sense.

Last week during the Republican debate,my oldest daughter was watching it with me. I didn't prompt her AT ALL. She had absolutly no background or commentary from me.
It didn't take her long to percieve what they were doing to Ron Paul and how rigged it was. How obvious their marginalization of him became. Now, she's going to change her registration to Republican so she can vote for Ron Paul in the Republican primaries and the general.
