@BringEllisTheHoriZon talent is one thing and money is another more talent the quicker you will be come i a piot i think well i hear they to 60k off you when training i dont know so lets just say talent and a s**it load of money
@11raywjfan talent still has nothing to do with it, i could easily fly a plane, i know all the IFR of the planes, all i would need to really fly it is charts for the STARS and SIDs and i could fly it, it isnt complex and it doesnt require talent, just knowledge on how to do it, like driving a car, but performing services and MOTs every time before you drive it... more or less
but its £80k which is pounds, im signed up to a pilot training company, they have all the know how about training costs
@BringEllisTheHoriZon@11raywjfan but some talent is needed? the ability to percieve altitude and distance? speed and position? believe me some people don't have them, and yes actually talent does make a difference to the cost if you are on an open (lesson by lesson) training plan as it will take fewer lessons to fufill the license
@CurlyBlakey theres learning quickly and theres talent
talent is a natural thing, if there was someone who was interested in wildlife but had talent to be a pilot, you could stick him in the seat of a plane and he could fly it, because he is talented at it
but no, you need lessons on how to do it, im not trying to argue or cause conflict but im just saying you dont need talent to be a commercial pilot or a private pilot, the more experience you get in a specific aircraft the better you will be

and yes theres some people who wont be able to be a pilot because they just cant do it even though they might want to, but that doesnt make them un talented, some people cant drive a car to save their life but still, you dont need talent to drive a car, you need talent to be a stunt pilot or rally driver though...

@11raywjfan you dont need talent to be a pilot, you need a lot of money and a lot of training

@CurlyBlakey I have to agree with you there is somewhat some sort of talent needed when it comes to flying.
