I only started watching this oldie because of how it influenced the creator of Evangelion and I have to admit my disappointment with it so far. It's pretty bland...And I'm not talking about the animation or artwork because I LOVE late 70's and early 80's Japanese animation; I'm talkin' about the storyline.

If I were Cosmo, I'd thrown that baby out of the Ideon. Other than that, this show is excellent.

This is actually ironic because my favorite anime is Evangelion. I can put up with creepy mentally unstable characters, wailing babies I cannot.
