The great Maestro Gonzales is no longer with us, but he was an institution even way back many decades ago. The sliding guitar really takes away from the performance, it is as if a stray cat came on stage, it had no place in this beautiful interpretation.

The bass player who also passed away, and a master at that "Cachaito" was Israel Lopez Cachao's nephew, may thay all rest in peace.
