well for a start he went from playing apsolutley fucking brilliant trance and progressive to playing some of the most pathetic music, i said nothing that he has no djing skills, look at tiesto's new album... its so comercial.. un like his stuff 10 years ago where he was years ahead of his game playing real imaginative stuff, but he can play an amazing set. look at sander van doorn, john ocallaghan, simon patterson, paul van dyke, they are pushing their sound in a more dynamic way...

I actually agree with everything you say. Trance music is not what it once was during its heyday when these guys were really pushing the envelope (armins stuff back then was blinding). Ive not brought a trance album for a while since it became a bit too mainstream but i'm still collecting it as individual tracks (hurrah for cdjs!)

lol. every one you mentioned is making generic crap and barely pushing the boundaries compared to years ago. Only exception might be PVD who doesn't even do trance anymore. he does whatever the hell he wants... orchestral music even. although his last release was a piece of crap male vocal pop trash trance. face it..the old days are gone. progressive house is where the creativity is taking place. Henry Saiz and Guy J for example. sad that i have to look elsewhere for what trance should be doing
