  • thats frikken scotland

  • I remember I was laying on the grass around Niagara falls and I could hear bagpipes all the way from canada.

  • che basso quest'audio!

  • I was expectiing bagpipes

  • I want an alarm clock that plays this

  • and since they where made of mostly biodegradable material and where never displayed like other instrument all of the oldest have turned to dust LONG ago so if they where present in Arabia we have very little evidence. the only evidence of them being used in Rome is sparse at best too and so the controversy still rages on in academia and will not be solved here

  • actually it is believed that bagpipes have been used by throughout the world. the bagpipes where the instrument of the roman infantry while the cavalry used trumpets. the Egyptians also used bagpipes. though the bagpipes we now know where indeed invented in Scotland. the earliest in the British Isles had only one drone. in the 1500s the second was added and the third around 1700. they where the instruments of the commoner so where not featured in stories or art of nobles until the middle ages

  • You're all wrong! Bagpipes were invented by Mrs. Nosupperforyou of Ivy Cottage, Reginald Crescent, Luton. Apparently, she accidentally pureed the cat.

  • this is not really a united kingdom reveille since the english banned all forms of scottish bagpipe music in the early 17th century :/ of course they lifted that law but still :L

  • thats the waking up sound??

  • @47hitman474747 You hear that, it's time to get the hell out of bed..

  • This a a UK march? Sounds Scottish.

  • @GeekBoy03 United Kingdom is England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and islands off the coast. So scottish would (to generalise) be UK.

  • @stonetravis78 In that case let's be politically correct and non discriminatory to everything.. English Muffin now becomes, "UK Muffin." English will now become UKish. "Hey there, do you speak UKish?" English Breakfast tea is now UK Breakfast tea ,etc , etc etc.

  • @GeekBoy03 No. It's still English, and it's still English muffin etc. because those were made by the English soely. But when reffering to the army, goverment etc. UK is used.

  • @grobo11 And bagpipes were made by the Scottish soley, thus this a Scottish March

  • @GeekBoy03 Sorry, bagpipes were Roman.

  • @grobo11 Sorry bagpipes were Arabian.

    *Touché*

  • @nallepuh6969 Yes you're quite right their origins can be traced back to ancient Mesopotamia. It was the Romans who introduced them to Europe.

However, this evidence still supports my argument and contradicts GeekBoy03 theory.

  • @nallepuh6969 I thought they were Indian.

  • @GeekBoy03 Scotland's part of the UK.

  • @Holycrudaflyingcow12 I'll have a cup of UK Breakfast tea, please.

  • it's a very good march reveille,so very good,it's the best after the French march reveille.

respect to our soldier of ISAF (NATO) in the world.

    from France.

  • ugh bagpipes? like sticking knifes in my ears

  • How about some sound?

  • This song needs drums. Not the English snare type but the Scottish clacking type.

  • The Tune is Johhny Cope, played at 6.30 every morning. Up the Argylls.

  • Yes... Because American marines aren't the pissants of their OWN armed forces, and they could tank an entire country.

I wish people knew shit about the military, honestly.

  • @thehate448 Wtf are you an idiot? The United Kingdom is our ally.

  • @Valles923 I know, it just goes to show how retarded our government is

  • Sounds kind of cool, I'm not much for bag pipes though.

  • Bookworm it is very majestic, happy veterans day.

  • Any chance of getting this at a level we can hear? shame to loose out on a good piece for the sake of sound!

  • No the american reveille means it soldiers should run away like in Washington DC

  • Have you even been within 50 yards of Scottish bagpipes? No-one could sleep through that - and I sleep through gunfire quite easily.

  • It's not one of the best, but I still love it.

  • Why?

  • In what way?

  • Dude. I am 100 percent Scottish from the Robertson clan.

We dont fucking talk like that over the internet, its our accent that sounds like that.

One cannot have a accent over the internet.

    Glasgow

    Curtis R

  • ROBERTSON 4 LIFE

    JOSH ROBERTSON

  • Only thing the American military is missing is bagpipes.

  • bagpipes! great sound they make, nice jobe mate

  • Ozzy Me Lad:

Shit you say? If ya a piper it is music to your ears; however, since your a pewit you'd never understand.

    Ernst Becker

  • Ernst me old china!! If you had actually read what I said and maybe thought about it, you would understand that I was saying the sound quality was shit NOT the music!!

The pipe playing was quite good. The quality of the recording, not so good.

So whats with the insults before you understood what I meant?

BTW, dont try and sound like you're more scottish than me ya smart arse. Although you'll probably make fun of this, for what its worth, my scottish ancestry includes our Queen Mary!!
